We had booked 2 rooms for a 3 night stay. On the second night, there was a power outage due to a storm. There were no emergency generators at the facility. The hotel was dark, very dark. No emergency lights. There was no ventilation in the room as our windows did not open. It was scary and we felt unsafe. There was no communication by the staff. Guests were uncomfortable. After we toughed out that difficult first night of the power outage, in the light of day we were able to get down stairs to talk with staff. They could not put us up anywhere else, there would not be a generator available at all. We were told to check out, which we gladly did, even though we had no where to stay and were traveling with children. I expected more from the Hilton name for sure. I realize that Spark by Hilton is just that. A spark, no go.
