Disfrute de las espectaculares vistas del lago Walloon desde la amplia terraza que rodea los dos lados de la casa, que está construida en la ladera que domina el lago. Una excelente ubicación para esquiadores (15 minutos a Boyne Mountain y 30 minutos a Boyne Highlands y Nubs Nob) y motos de nieve (el lago congelado Walloon proporciona acceso de ida y vuelta a los senderos de Charlevoix, Emmet, Cheboygan y Otsego County).

Went in the middle of February for a long skiing/ snowboarding weekend, place was great and the hosts were more than accommodating and I can only imagine how pretty it is in the summer but I can say for sure it was beautiful in the winter!

David was good at responding to my inquiries. The property was well maintained and clean. There was ample supplies, ie: toilet paper, paper towels, towels. I would stay here again, if I am ever back in the area.

Labor Day on Walloon

Second year at this very comfortable home on a quiet section of Walloon Lake. The location is perfect and the home has everything we need for a great stay. Looking forward to next year!

Great week on the lake!

This was our third year renting this property, and as always, it was a wonderful stay. The property is first class, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a family vacation. Highlights are the fantastic deck, the sandbar, and the beautiful view of Walloon. Will be back again next year!

Family vacation

We loved everything about our stay! David was very responsive and easy to work with. The house is great and worked very well for three generations of family staying together. The kitchen is very well supplied, beds and linens are comfortable, beautiful lake location, really no complaints and we will be back next year!

Can’t say enough good things about this property. Stayed here with three couples and four young kids. Plenty of room, great dock and boat, and a wonderful week of memories. A plus.

Perfect Family Vacation!

This home was perfect for our family! It’s beautiful, incredibly roomy and has every amenity you could possibly need…starting with a great location and view! All of our adult kids had the space they needed, and fun water toys to keep everyone happy and active! We’re looking forward to going back next year!

Beautiful large lake view home in a private setting! Plenty of room for eight adults and a golden retriever. Easy check-in and great communication with the host. Lots of games for all to enjoy – ping pong, pool, shuffle board, etc. Really enjoyed the patio with fire pit and plenty of space for all and equally enjoyed the spacious dock for lounging in the sun. The paddle boards were a nice addition! Can’t wait until our next visit!

Hidden gem!

We loved this spacious and beautiful home on Walloon Lake! There were plenty of beds and bathrooms, and it had all of the comforts of home. We were sad to leave. We hope to be back next year and maybe rent the other cottage next door!

Nice House with good finishes. Clean and bug free which is a huge positive in upper lower Michigan. Unfortunately there is Unacceptably low water pressure inside.Things to be aware of while considering that may or may not matter based on the renter.1. No real yard for gatherings/outdoor activities. Seems to share a small yard in front with the house next door. Definitely zero off leash opportunities for the 4-legged family members.2. The lake is down about 50 steep steps from the lower level of the house on a very steep hillside. This unexpected feature made the lake inaccessible to my elderly dog and Father in Law.
