"Pool area was expansive and relaxing. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. The poolside restaurant had amazing Greek salad, even by Greek standards! Expect to pay a little extra if you want heat or air conditioning, which I found a little unusual."

"The location is great, just a short walk to the port area and a nice stroll into the old town. The property is dated. We had a sea view room with a tiny balcony, the views were great from the high floor room. The lift is tiny but very quaint."

"Overall cleanliness was very good. Onsite restaurant was excellent. Proximity to everything we were looking forward to to wasgreat"

"Great short break, quiet location , very clean, & well kept gardens etc . .Lovely balcony overlooking the pool . wifi close to local amenities. Just a little way out from the centre but no problem if you have transport."

"La struttura ha un staff molto attento alle esigenze della clientela. La prima collazione e la cena offrono un' ampia varietà che soddisfa anche chi è vegetariana. La stanza è comoda, ma il bagno sarebbe meglio se avesse un box doccia a posto della tenda. La posizione è ottima per visitare sia il sud che il nord della isola."

"Very modern & spacious. Close enough to the main strip, but very quiet at night. There are lots of stairs and no elevator. Was hard to take our luggage to the third floor. Overall very lovely property"

"Location is excellent for visiting almost all sites in the Corfu old town on foot, and the staff is very helpful and friedly."

"Wonderful and charming. About a minute walk into Old Town Corfu. Great breakfast in the courtyard. Staff was very kind and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again."

"We loved the apartment. It was really spacious, with good A/C, and functioning washer &dryer. Location is excellent with very easy access to the old fortress and the museum of Asian arts, and other landmarks and restaurants."

"The apartment is well decorated with adequate space for dining, seating and kitchen facilities. The location is in the prime tourist area but it was surprisingly very quiet. Restaurants, bakeries, grocers are all nearby and extremely convenient to get to. It’s walkable to the Old Fortress and even to the ferry terminal. Highly recommended."

"Madelena ‘s shows signs of once being great but it’s way off now. They should close the back rooms so guests don’t see the laundry drying and block off the area under construction. Get rid of all the broken stuff; chairs, lounges, bar stools. Cover the empty pool and get a gardener to prune everything. The 2 staff members we saw seem unsupported and poorly managed. We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food but the included breakfast at 8:30 was very late so we left."

"I read that there was no elevator, but your room is on the third floor because the family lives on the lower floors. They were helpful with luggage, but we still lifted our luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs. The property is located on a one-way street. So, many taxis and Ubers have a difficult time because it takes an extra 5 to 10 minutes to pick you up."

"Really nice hotel, lots of young couples. Really enjoyed yoga and sound healing"
