Looking for a family friendly place off the beaten path, but close enough for fun in the sun? The townhouse is just minutes from all that Perdido Key and the surrounding area has to offer. Walk the white sugar sand beaches of Perdido Key and Orange Beach or go kayaking at Johnson Beach State Park. Pensacola is also home of the Blue Angels, and you can tour the Naval Aviation Museum and the Pensacola Lighthouse.

If you want to dine out, there are several great restaurants & pubs just minutes where the locals hang out. Publix is just 5 minutes and Target and Walmart are 10 minutes down the road for your convenience. For your shopping interests, you'll enjoy strolling through the unique local shops darned with art works and beach décor. Orange Beach, AL is about 20 minutes away, and has many options for dinning and entertainment.

If you plan on eating in the kitchen has everything you need to make a home cooked meal. The townhouse also has free Wi-Fi, YouTube TV, and Disney+

We loved our getaway at the Grotto! It was the perfect hidden gem—peaceful, cozy, and surprisingly affordable, especially for how close it was to everything. Shops, restaurants, trails… all right there, but somehow it still felt like our own little secret escape.And that’s the thing—we’re a little torn. Part of us wants to shout it from the rooftops and tell everyone we know to book it immediately. But the other part? Kinda wants to keep it all to ourselves. (Sorry not sorry.)Either way, we’ll definitely be back.

Very nice property. Great communication with owner. Everything was as advertised. Interior was clean and everything worked. The back yard was fenced and great for a dog. The only concern and it was minor was the immediate surroundings. There were tradesmen living in the little cul de sac and a house being built close by. However, very little noise generated by the construction. There are two really good casual pet friendly seafood restaurants close by, The Point and the Salty Pearl.

Home was exactly as advertised. Lovely, private backyard that was perfect for our dog. Many extras in the kitchen. Very clean and updated . Owner extremely responsive. Would definitely stay again!

The townhome was cute and the little yard was convenient for letting out our dog. It wasn’t 5 star kind of clean with dog hair left on chair, trash found behind bed table, bed is a bit stiff (I’m more of a soft mattress fan), towels had a different smell when wet, and the water heater did not allow for any hot water (just lukewarm). It was a nice enough place and the neighborhood seemed safe. I might return, but I can’t give a 5 star rating for the above reasons. We did not disclose any of these things to the owner, but I’m sure the water heater issue may have been fixed had we asked, but it didn’t affect our stay enough to reach out.

I really enjoyed this property more than any other place I’ve ever stayed. It was very convenient to the beach, restaurants, basically everywhere we visited while on our trip. I loved the fenced in back yard for my dog. It was very clean and inviting. Beautifully decorated. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

This amazing place is tucked away and it’s so peaceful! Literally everything you need is there. We went there during an hurricane evacuation and I can’t believe we got this little place for so many days last minute. Back yard is private with a patio table. Both rooms have private balconies. Wi-fi is great, I work remote. We definitely plan on going back when we can actually relax and aren’t storm stressed with work. Thanks for the amazing stay, Gregg. We appreciate you being so accommodating and letting us extend our stay as well.

Absolutely great property and vacation rental! It was the right amount of space for my husband and I and our 2 children. We were very close to the beach, which we visited daily. We were able to walk or run in the neighborhood, visit local restaurants like Hub Stacey's and Paul's pizza. This was a great property to stay at. Booking, check in, and check out were very easy. We highly recommend Grotto Getaway.

Very small townhome. Comfortable beds and great hot water and water pressure. Just right for two or three people. Nearby to beaches and playground. The neighborhood is very quiet. Backyard is a little scruffy but it’s to be expected at springtime. Gas grill works great. Thank you for letting us stay for 35 nights.

We loved the townhouse. It*s close to restaurants and grocery stores, etc. and not too far from the beach. It is clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Plenty of items in case you forget something. Backyard is fenced and our dog loved roaming around out there. We had a great time and look forward to coming again soon.

The Grotto Family Getaway was the perfect place for us. It was close to everything, in a quiet neighborhood, and our sweet fur baby, Odie, got to tag along. The townhouse is beautifully decorated, the pictures don’t do it justice. Everything you need is there & the host, Gregg answered all of our questions. We enjoyed our stay & would recommend this townhouse to anyone looking for a great beach trip to Perdido Key!
