"A weekend away! Great location to wineries, breweries, restaurants, and the lakes. Nice and quiet property. Comfy bed. Only area of improvement would be their AC unit. A mini split may have worked better to keep the unit cooler. I would also say the property needs to be sprayed for insects. We saw a few large spiders during our stay. Overall great weekend away. Tammy was so hospitable and easy to work with! "

"There are not many lakefront places to rent in the Finger Lakes that either (a) are not truly lakefront because a road stands between you and the water, or (b) don't have a zillion steps down to the water. This cottage, at 37 Seneca Street in Dresden, is truly lakefront, with a lawn down to a pebbly beach and a dock. And there are only, I think, 11 easy steps down to the lawn -- perfect for older dogs and people. The Dresden location is perfect for visiting Geneva, Watkins Glen, Penn Yan and...

"The property is a great home base for accessing Watkins Glen and the Seneca Lake wine trail. It was clean and comfortable for our family, and the hot tub was a nice bonus after a day of hiking. Would definitely recommend this place for exploring the area. "

"We stayed for an extended weekend and had access to wineries, museums, and waterfalls that were all within a reasonable distance and made for a nice drive. Overall, it was a good experience and the owners checked in with us when we forgot to message that we arrived. They were super nice and accommodated our special requests! "We loved being right on the lake, it was magical. The dock and fire pit were our favorite places. It was a long drive in on a private road, so we mostly grouped our activities and went out and back once. That being said, the house was well equipped for making meals, and the bed was comfortable! The house has so many windows it was wonderful to see the lake everywhere you went!"

"It was our 4th time at Brian's place on Lamoka Lake, We had a good time, as usual. Lots of small fish from the dock but no big ones this year. The cottage was clean and functional with no problems. And we got good use out of the new grill. Brian was a good host, as he always is. We expect to be back again next year."
