Viatges a Passo dello Stelvio

We were on top floor and you have to wait an age for the lift to come to go either up or down. There was no iron in room so we requested on which we had to collect. An hour after collecting we got a phone call demanding we return the iron as it is for other guests. We stated we had left it outside our room but this was not good enough, we had to return it back to reception and got an abrupt telling off. The window in the room did not fully close and unfortunately behind the building seemed to be the place for drug use and gatherings so everything could be heard and little sleep was gotten. The room was dusty and had not been vacuumed as there was white crumbly stuff allover the carpet. Definitely not a 4 star hotel!

Lovely hotel and welcoming staff. While the location is good, my room was street facing and the noise from neighbouring night clubs after closing when people are emptying onto the streets is excessive despite soundproofing attempts. It was difficult to have an uninterrupted sleep. This is a shame as it isn’t the hotel’s fault but worth bearing in mind for travellers.

Breakfast was fantastic!
