Nothing negative to say about the actual suite. Lovely, clean, everything provided that you would need. Great location. My negative comment is about the parking and the management company. We paid in advance for underground parking. When we arrived, the battery for the parking fob was dead. We messaged the rental company and were told essentially too bad, there’s no one on site to help, and to find alternative public parking and that they would refund our money for the parking . It’s FIFA in Toronto, there is ZERO available parking. I drove around 3 hours my first evening trying to find alternative parking. Wasted my entire evening and I have a 4 year old to top it off. Finally decided to try to change the fob battery, wasted another 1.5 hours doing that only to find out it’s not the battery, but the actual fob is dysfunctional. So now I’ve wasted an entire evening, no help from the management company other than to say go find alternative parking. They said they would issue me a refund for the parking… still haven’t received that.

Great Location, great Hotel and Staff. The classic (read: good) RIU experience. The Lobby is a bit small and sometimes crowded though.
