"Very nice overnight stay. The room was lovely and very clean. Staff were all very friendly. Only downside would be that there was a function on and the stairs to the bedrooms aren't blocked off so we could hear everything until the early hours/closing time. The bar is also at the bottom of the stairs so even without a function on it could potentially be quite loud as there is lice music on Saturday's. "We were made to feel welcome from the start to the end of our three night stay. Our bed was so comfortable, it was a welcome return after a busy day exploring Aberdeenshire. "Booked this for one of my employees who was working in the area. When he arrived he was shown to a room in the roofspace that had to duck all the time due to the amount the roof came into the room. Booked a room with a private bathroom but he was shown a bathroom along a public corridor, not exactly private! Then the bar was noisy until about 0130 when he was trying to sleep as he was up early in the morning. Needless to say he wasn't very happy!"
