"It was the Girls weekend in Sarasota, so 4 of us, ladies stayed at Carlisle for the 1st time and we were literally impressed. Pictures does not do any justice. "Great location to the village and beach. The room was small but comfortable. AC unit was directly outside the bedroom window and a bit loud. I would have liked some utensils and plates to use during the stay."

"Room floor was dirty, after wiping up a spill of water in the main guest room, the towel I used to wipe up the water was pretty appalling. Grout in the bathroom was pretty dingy, disappointing for a $500/night room. We called to request additional coffee and toilet paper for the next morning and it never arrived, we eventually just went to lobby to get it ourselves. Over the weekend, I did catch the really bad flu/bronchitis bug that has been going around. Not saying I caught it at the hotel...

"Kompose hotel was very nice. Rooms are basic but comfortable with everything you need. No drawers or closets but plenty of shelves. Bed was very comfortable. We did not use the pool. We did have breakfast 2 mornings and it was fine. I did like they offered plenty of cereals. While most hotels only have 2 or 3, Kompose had about 10. While the hotel was quite full, it was quiet. Also right next to the airport and this was not an issue. No late night flights, a few start in the morning...

"This is basically a motel room. The "suite" was about a 100 sq ft room, including a "kitchenette" (sink, microwave & mini fridge) and the bathroom. PROS: it's convenient to (though not ON) the beach, it's pretty affordable, & the staff is nice. CONS: Water pressure in the bath is a TRICKLE (if you have hair to wash, forget it), no hooks or space to hang wet clothes or anything, and the noisy AC dripped water from Day 1 and eventually leaked so badly we woke up to find the whole floor was wet.
