PoolsideHaven30A is located between Rosemary Beach and Seaside on 30A and is the BEST LOCATION in Prominence on 30A. It is the CLOSEST to the resort style, zero (like a beach) entry, heated pool located just a few steps from the unit. The pool will be HEATED during fall and spring. We provide lots of goodies to include: 5 bikes, beach tent and 8 beach chairs. Also, our home is one of the ONLY homes in Prominence that have a beautiful view of the pool.

PoosideHaven30A is self managed by Robert and Kim. This is our only rental property and we take good care of our home and our guests. For example, in the past year we have replaced the carpet in 2 bedrooms (only carpet in the home), purchased a new washer and dryer, a new sleeper sofa and loveseat, a new dining table and a new rug in the living room. We love PoolsideHaven30A and we know you will also.

PoolsideHaven30A is just a short drive or bike ride to the nearby scenic dunes and unspoiled beauty of nearby Deer Lake State Park and the amazing emerald beaches of the Gulf.

The BIG CHILL (formally the Hub), just 2 min walk from our home, is a 30A hotspot. It offers a number of amenities that are certain make this vacation one of fun, fitness and relaxation. The Hub offers something for folks of all ages and tastes, from tacos and tequila, to wings, burgers and shakes, a stop here is quick, tasty and convenient, and comes with a side of entertainment at the outdoor amphitheater. It's a great place to catch a concert, sporting event, or a movie on the lawn.

Our home is intended for families, couples or groups that want to have a fun vacation getaway. If you intend to heavy drink and/or smoke in or around our home we suggest you look elsewhere. Thanks for your understanding.

Prominence Beach Access Points

Beach Access to the West:
Deer Lake State Park - Deer Lake is the most popular and the closest beach access to Prominence and is located .5 miles away. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk froth parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.

Walton Dunes - Walton Dunes is about 2 miles to the west at the end of Beachfront Trail. This is a Walton County beach access with parking and short distance to the beach.

Santa Clara - Santa Clara access is a Walton County beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the tram, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Beach Access to the East:
Gulf Lakes - The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about .5 miles to the east of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed. Parking is not available, but makes for a great bike ride to the beach.

Sea Breeze - Sea Breeze is a Walton County beach access that is just past the Gulf Lakes access.

The BEST time in 30A

This was out first time in 30A and we loved the location of this property and it was very well kept and clean. Over abundance of towels, which is perfect when you have a big family. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Perfect Location

We had a wonderful week. The property was perfectly located near the entrance of the neighborhood and directly across from the pool. No need for a golf cart. Everything was just as described. We will definitely be back.

Perfect place for family vacation

Loved the location, property, and management. Home was clean and was the perfect size for our group of 6 (2 adults, 4 teenagers). Communication from owners was great, so check in was very easy and we had good recommendations for what to do during our vacation. The included bikes and beach chairs were also a nice bonus.

Super comfortable and a great time. Great location

We had a wonderful stay! The house was great, enough room for two families. The kids loved riding their bikes and scooters around the neighborhood. Everyone was super friendly and nice. Definitely a big plus having the pool right across the street! Also a huge plus having the Big Chill just a very short walk away. We enjoyed going there in the late afternoons/ evening and letting the kids do the activities. The house was very comfortable, and the bed in the master room was like sleeping on a cloud. The host, Robert, was very responsive and helpful. He did a great job at being quickly responsive and helpful, and made us feel really comfortable. Thanks!

Awesome place to stay!

We had a really great time. The owner, Robert, was really great in communication. He responded quickly every time I texted. The place was very clean and so close to everything. The bikes that are provided were great. We loved staying here. Plenary of room for all of us.

Great for Families

The property was beautiful--just as described in the listing. I appreciated the liquid soap provided as well as sponges and laundry detergent for guest use. Some places only provide bars of soap and that can get pretty unsanitary after a while. The spice cabinet was nice as well as we did not need to purchase some basic things if we wanted to cook at home. We also utilized the pack and play provided. The only thing worth mentioning is that there were some fruit flies in the house due to having the kitchen garbage in the pantry uncovered--a lid on that garbage bin would probably fix the issue. Accessing the garage from the outside would also be nice to have as someone always had to walk through the house to open the garage door from the inside when we wanted to put things there. Overall though, great place and would stay again.

Family beach vacay

Prior to arrival Robert provided a lot of information about the townhome and the surrounding area-restaurants, beaches, rentals, etc. it made it easy to plan what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go. Upon arrival we were surprised at how much larger the townhome actually is in person than the pictures appeared online. It’s a very pretty townhome and it was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed. We came with our 3 boys 22, 6, & 3, so it was nice for our older son to have his own space and the littles had fun sharing the bunk beds. 3 bathrooms was def a plus also! Having the little ones-we take a lot of stuff to the beach, so driving to the beach wasn’t a big deal for us. There are some beach access points that are bikeable via the bike paths, and are close by. The location of the townhome within the community itself was great also-across the street from the pool, and the the Big Chill is just a couple minutes walk away. Robert was quick to respond with any questions we had and we had zero issues! Great family vacation and we’re looking forward to staying again!

Robert and Kim made our stay at Poolside Haven 30a amazing!! They were so easy to work with and really care about making sure your trip is great! Their home was the cleanest property I have stayed in! They went above and beyond supplying you with the necessities! They thought of everything! Fancy hand soap, dish soap, laundry and dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, etc! It was all there!! It was decorated so beautifully and the beds, pillows, linens were a step above what you normally get! Bikes were great! Chairs were great! We loved this place! The location from the beach was a little further trip than we wished, but it still worked out ok. They provide a shuttle and once Deer Lake reopens, it would be a much easier beach access. Thanks again for a place to have a great beach week!

A lovely week!

We had a great stay. Everything was as described..beds were super comfy and the owner had so many helpful tips and items at the house. The only downside was getting to the beach..it’s a project and it takes some planning to get down there with all of the things you need for the day. We loved the area..lots of things to do with the kids..very accommodating owners!

Best vacation rental ever!!

We tried to think of anything that this house was lacking and the only thing we came up with was beach towels! Robert and Kim are definitely Super Hosts! This house not only came equipped with everything you could need, they even had a very nice booklet/Google doc of helpful information. The communication is excellent and everything was as described. I've stayed in a lot of rentals through the years and the added extras to help get you started were so helpful. From laundry soap to detergent and trash bags. Some places don't have these items or crockpots or Tupperware for leftovers. Lots of linens and towels and extra blankets etc. It's the little considerations that make this a 5 star rental! I almost hate to share how great it is bc it might book up and we won't get back ha!

All you need on 30A

This home has everything you need for a great stay on 30A. Great location and the house is roomy and very clean. Owners provide all the little things that make a trip easier for a family including bikes and beach chairs. Will definitely stay again!

Great place on 30a

We love prominence and it’s pool and location on 30a. It is across the street from the hub and a short bike ride or golf cart ride to the beach. The townhouse is beautifully decorated and comfortable and has all of the amenities of home. The location next to the pool is perfect and the owners are easy to work with and very helpful. The door codes make everything easy for check in. This unit included 5 bikes which were great to get around. We can’t wait for the next visit.

Great location!

The location across from the pool was great for our grandkids - ages 3, 4, and 6! We enjoyed the short walk to the Hub for meals and music. And we were always able to find parking at the public beach lot! Best beach vacation ever!

Fantastic Family Vacation

This property and our stay was wonderful! We were literally steps from the pool and from The Hub where there were a ton of activities for both adults and kids. There were several local beach access options; we mostly chose to go to Santa Clara and take advantage of the free shuttle. They pick up every hour and provide on-demand return trips (plus some great restaurant recommendations). The house is beautiful and also fully stocked with everything you need including beach chairs and bikes! We were able to take morning bike rides on the paved paths along 30A- gorgeous! The beds were super comfortable and appliances were great- we enjoyed cooking several meals at the house. The owners provided so many recommendations and were always available to answer any questions. Great communication and great experience overall. We will definitely be returning next year. Thank you Robert and Kim!

Everything was wonderful!

This was our first visit to the area, and Robert was so helpful! The house was clean, beautiful, and centrally located - we were able to walk across the street to The Hub, as well, which was perfect! Definitely recommend staying here on your next visit to the Seaside area, and we can't wait to come back!

Ideal Location

From start to finish, this was the perfect experience. Communicating with Robert before, during and after our stay has been smooth sailing. Any questions/concerns were answered immediately during our stay. The location is perfect, situated across from all of the action at the Hub. It's a short drive, bike ride. walk to the beach. There are great restaurants within 2 miles or less. Running and biking trails are abundant. We (my toddler) swam in the pool almost everyday and I used the gas grill at the pool to cook up some meat. The house is stocked with plenty of cookware, tupperware, etc. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. Thank you!
