  • This cozy beach hideout is part of a triplex home and is steps from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. It's a hidden gem down a discreet little road directly off 'The Strip’ and across the street from the infamous Sharky's Restaurant. We've created a bright beachy dwelling with an earthy surfer vibe. We've named it 'The Yard' because we feel the large private yard is one of its best assets. The newly landscaped yard is the perfect hang out after a long day at the beach!

    Think white-washed floors and jute rugs, bright green plants and cozy linens. Our little beach bungalow has all the amenities a vacationer could need. A new Queen sized Linenspa bed in the master bedroom, and a twin sized bunk in the guest room. The full-sized bath is equipped with fresh towels, extra bathroom supplies, and a hairdryer. The kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare a feast, just bring the food and store in the large fridge/freezer. The living area has a cozy couch and a large Roku TV.

    This is a private dwelling, everything on the property is yours including the large green back yard. You do have the option to share the yard with your neighbors by opening the shared gate.

    Please note : This property is separate from The Origin at Seahaven property and guests that book at 'The Yard' will not have access to the Origin property amenities.

    This rental has its own parking spot plus access to overflow parking. Many popular restaurants, convenience stores and golf-cart rentals are all within walking distance.

    This property is pet friendly with a pet fee of 75 dollar per pet for a MAX of 2 dogs (50 LBS or less) unless specifically approved by property management at Beach Haven Vacation Rentals.

We enjoyed staying here. The only thing for us was the ac. The air worked great at night but during the day it was way to hot. Filters and return air vent really needs to be cleaned.

Perfect little house for our short visit. WiFi didn’t work when we arrived, but was quickly fixed, thank you Kami. Our dogs loved the yard and the occasional squirrel visitor. Far enough off the main road for peace and quiet, but close to everything we wanted to do.

The location is perfect for an easy walk to the beach and several restaurants. The yard is perfect for pets and the unit is cozy for a small group. We had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable.

Clean place, looks good, bed was broken. Rocks left to right when sleeping. Pictures had two bunk beds but only had one. Communication stopped with tenant when asked about it. Great location, a/c was cold, had Roku.

Enjoyable stay

We really enjoyed this place, we travel with our pup and this was a great fit for anyone traveling with a dog. Also short walking distance to the beach and places to eat.

The place is located at the great location near the beach and across restaurants. If you need a affordable place which js just a walk from the beach, this is the place.

Cute, cozy hideaway,clean Back yard nice, lawn furniture could use some paint, bunk beds were a little squeaky, place was very convenient to the beach, I would definitely stay again.

Excellent experience

House was nice and clean. Love that is pet friendly and has a fenced in backyard. Literally minutes away from the beach. My only suggestion is to install curtains in the bedroom due to a lot of light at night. Will definitely book again.

It’s a lovely place, but the outdoor patio had some unsightly feces, which I’m not thrilled about. My puppy won’t go outside to relieve itself, and also the kitchen some dirty. Thanks.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The primary bed was broken and unstable, making it uncomfortable to sleep on since it severely tilted to one side. Every movement caused the bed frame to shift, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.The bathroom tile floor was broken and sunk down in front of the shower. The exterior window in the bunk bedroom was completely shattered. The bunk beds squeaked so loudly with even the slightest movement, frequently waking us both up. The lawn was overgrown reaching nearly two feet high in some places, which gave the property a dirty and unkempt appearance. To make matters worse, the sprinklers seemed to be programmed to run at inconvenient times and regularly turned on while we were arriving or leaving the property. Overall, the home needs significant maintenance and safety issues addressed before it is suitable for guests.I would never stay here again.

QUICK FAMILY GETAWAY

The property location was great for our needs, ample parking and walking distance to many good eats and drinks. The fenced in back yard was private which was a huge plus for us and our pup. The space was just the right size for my party of 3. Overall clean, this is the beach so nothing will be sand free. The online description was very accurate except the photos show 4 bunks, but there is only 2. The listing does say sleeps 4 but the pictures show that it would be 6, this could use an update.

The Yard

Overall we had an okay. The listing was misleading. The room with the bunk beds is actually only one set. The bunk beds made the worst squeaky noise whenever anyone made the smallest movement. The place had ants and spiders upon arrive. We also saw a cockroach on the last night. The distance to the beach was great. The location made all the other stuff minimal for us. It was nice to be walking distance to the beach, food, & activities.

I DO NOT recommend this place at all. If i could give no stars I would. Got to the place and the check in instructions were fine but on arrival we could clearly see that the grass in the fenced in area had not been cut recently so our little dog did not venture far from the patio when using the bathroom. After going inside discovered that the bunk bed room had a broken window that had a small hole that mosquitos were coming through. The tile in beside the tube was broken and jagged edges while also the tub being cracked in the bottom. The main bedroom bed was still broken and wobbly from previous users complaining about it. For the most part the place was clean besides the air vent above the bathroom door was covered in dust and filth. Right before leaving we noticed a sprinkler head in the back was messed up and was just shooting water straight up. All this shows me is that maintenance and up keep is not a high priority of this place at all. And all the while, communication after we got there stopped completely so the host was not concerned at all about us or the problems we were having.

Cute and comfy place

Overall we loved this place. Location to the beach was awesome. I do wish a few things were better though. For example mowing the lawn, backyard light to work, trash can to work with foot lever, and the outdoor table and chairs were rusted so we could not use them. Also at one point the water pressure went way down but came back after like an hour. But very convenient to the beach and a few restaurants and had just the right amount of room for us and our pets.
