Absolutely Unsafe! Horrible management company

During our stay 2 men came in our condo using the doorcode while my daughter was there alone. I went to drop my husband off at a nearby golf course. The men came in and claimed to be pest control and maintenance. No credentials or anything. One man stood in her bedroom doorway while they were there. Scaring her to death. The mgmt company, had no record of pest control. But somehow the men said they gave them the doorcode. As a mother I was horrified for my daughter. What if no one was home? Our belongings, jewelry etc was all there. They would of just come in without our knowledge!! Management will not take any responsibility. Also workers there sprayed concrete all over my husbands truck while we were parked in designated parking. To have strange men in there with just my daughter is unacceptable! The owner should also hold responsibility. The mattresses were also horrible. DO NOT STAY THERE! Our entire vacation was ruined

Last minute switch

We were supposed to be on the East coast but changed plans because of the hurricane. The property was very nice. The view was great! We had a lot of issues with the elevators but they were actively working on getting them fixed. The unit was nice but the furnishings could use updating. All in all, we had a good trip!

Had a great stay. Amazing views from the balcony. Easy access to the beach. Unfortunately hot tub was closed for repairs during our stay but pool water was warm and comfortable. Shopping, restaurants are within walking distance.

Clean with great location

We have stayed in PCB multiple times and always choose the Aquavista building. This particular condo with the building stands out as it was extremely clean. No leftover sand throughout the condo or dingy smell. The condo is in a great location as you can simply and safely walk across the street to a grocery store and it’s only a mile from Pier Park. It is also in a low rise building and on the quieter end of PCB so the beach is a lot less crowded. I would absolutely stay here again.

Very clean, great location, but not a motel.

We had a great time and there weren't any big dissappointments, but a motel would have had some advantages. We couldn't check in until 4 p.m. while a motel would have been 3 p.m. We had to check out by 10 a.m. while a motel would have been 11 a.m. The room had several maintenance items needed. In a motel we could call the front desk and talk to a person. At this location, they ask you to text them, but they didn't bother to reply to either of ours. They did finally respond to an email, but by then we were leaving. At a motel, you don't need to supply your own garbage bags, coffee and filters, dishwashing soap, etc... Here, they expect you to pretty much bring everything with you and empty the trash when you leave. We did have a great time, though, thanks to great access to a great beach.

Not the best

We arrived on a Thursday afternoon, with no AC, terrible smell, leak in the sink and the floors were filthy. The property management company was fairly quick to respond by text. They sent a maintenance man around 9pm that night to check the AC. He said something was put on backwards but he didn't have to tools to fix it. I contacted the company by text the next morning asking when someone would be there to fix it. They had to double check. It was fixed by the next afternoon. The leak at the sink was never addressed.

Great location

The location was great. The stay was great, condo was spacious beautiful views but here are a few things that needs attention. The complex had only one elevator working and it was not connected to the west building, so hauling everything up and down made for an exhausting effort. The complex is not a high rise so beach space was not an issue. The condo needs a good deep clean-there were cob webs around the patio doors with loose handles, significant debris/food beside the refrigerator and washer dryer… there was no broom or mop. The sliding patio door tracks seemed corroded causing the doors not to slide open very easily without some significant muscle being used. The vertical blinds that cover the patio doors had to have several panels reinserted as they would fall off when the blinds would be opened or closed with lots of empty gaps. There where no sheets for the sofa bed so we had to handle that aspect. The AC vents had blackened areas around air vents in the living /kitchen area. The condo was not bad at all just needs some attention to a few things that are simple issues to correct. Would stay here again if the elevator works!

Not what we expected

The pictures online look nothing like in person. The furniture in the living room was stained and smelled. When we walked with our shoes off we all had black feet, so obviously it wasn’t cleaned properly. There’s mold starting on the ceiling. My family has allergies and everyone kept coughing and sneezing sucks they have mold issues. This place has potential just needs some updating and a better cleaning company. Getting that mold checked out. They also didn’t inform us that someone at the property would be coming in to work on the door. So we came into the room with the shock of a stranger being in there. They are also doing construction so it can be loud at times. You can hear the neighbors above us like they were remodeling. Definitely will be staying somewhere else next time…

View to die for!

Our family had a great stay! Clean unit, we used the pullout couch and it was comfortable. AC worked great- we would turn it down during the day and up a little at night becausd it cooled so well. Nice floor plan- we enjoyed the gulf view in the living room, dining room, and the balcony! Would stay in this unit again for sure!!

Could use some repairs

It may have been my fault that I did not know the entire property was under renovation. There is also major road work being done in front of the complex. The pool was being worked on so unable to even sit next to it. There were no instructions for the 3 remotes needed for the tv. There were no carts available to help move suitcases etc, due to construction. The tv in the small bedroom was dvd only. The door handles on the sliding glass doors were both broken, making it difficult to open/close the doors. The blinds on the sliding glass were missing slats. The shower faucet in the master bedroom leaked a lot. THe shower faucet in small bath also had issues and was hard to adjust. Towel ack in master bath came off wall. No pan for the toaster oven, so unable to use. Only one rack in oven. The view is great though there was a large cable hanging down from the work being done and hard to get good picture of sunset due to cable in middle of balcony area. It was a short stay and it worked, but all the little things added up.

Could have been great, however…

The inside of the property was clean and comfortable. There was a bit of wear and tear I recorded and emailed through a complaint. But it was reasonable…I just didn’t want to pay for issues that were there before our arrival. The deck left a lot to be desired. We were not aware of the intensity of the construction on the outside of the building. We’re both Special Ed teachers w Special needs children and were in dire need of PEACE and relaxation. The clanging, buzzing, dragging, and hammering started at 8 every morning and went until past dark everyday. It was unsettling to us adults, but was upsetting for our autistic children. If we dared to go on the balcony, construction debris was flying every which way and hitting us. This was ALOT. But we were making due w this and a door we couldn’t figure out how to lock. Then the contaminated water notice was put up in the elevator overnight that we saw after we had used the water for tooth brushing and coffee that very morning. That was the last straw. I’m beside myself w disappointment. More than anything, I’m just sadden by this experience.

Great location, nice condo layout, but lacking items and upkeep

The condo has a very nice layout! The location is great, with a grocery store right across the street. Access to the beach was nice, though sometimes there was quite a wait for the elevator. I was very disappointed that there was major construction going on during our stay, and I was unaware when I made reservations that that was going to be the case. The street was torn up, which wasn't too big of an inconvenience, but through the week there were constant sounds of jackhammering on the building. Very loud and extremely annoying!!!! The condo isn't stocked as well as other we've stayed in. There were no oven mitts, and there were only maybe 8 forks and knives. We ate in for almost all of our meals, so we were constantly having to do dishes. I never found a 9x13 baking dish, only a 7x9. The coffee maker only makes up to 5 cups. We managed, but for bigger coffee drinkers, heads up. During our stay I had to notify the company that owns the condo of a few issues. The bedroom and bathroom door started sticking, like the doors were swelling, the mirror started coming off the door, one of the balcony chairs was cracking, and the top of the table on the balcony was not attached to the body. I doubt any of those things were new issues, so I was disappointed that the company doesn't keep up better with the property. I am not the kind of person to complain about every little thing but for the price we paid, I expected better. I feel like renting a company-owned condo versus individually-owned maybe isn't a good idea. We were never given information regarding parking, so we had a note on our car the day after we arrived. We had to go online and fill out the parking info, and then we were supposed to print that out and display in the car. So we had to take time out to go to a printing place and pay to have that printed. Thankfully there is a place across the street and it wasn't that expensive, but I should have been given the info a few days ahead of time so I could have had that done before we arrived. Overall, aside from the very loud construction, there were just several little annoyances that could have been avoided if the company was more on top of things.

Spacious and good view

PRINT YOUR PARKING PASS AT HOME if you book at Aquavista, and set a reminder in your phone so you won't forget! I used my problem solving skills and paid to have it printed at CVS across the street from Aquavista. We traveled a long way on a Saturday so most places available for printing were about to close. Parking is very limited because several spaces are being used by construction materials. Unit 304 was perfect for our family of four. The view from inside the unit and of course from the balcony are awesome. The queen bed is super comfortable. It's very convenient to have Winn-Dixie right across the street. Some of the codes that were given to us at check-in were incorrect, but luckily we ran into other visitors who gave us correct codes for certain gates. I learned several people had incorrect codes during their stay. All of our feet got pretty dirty walking inside the unit so we washed them before bedtime. Packing some extra sandals or something to wear inside may be a good idea. The shower curtain in the smaller bathroom was moldy. The beach is awesome and not crowded at all. Be prepared to swim with lots of June grass which is much like seaweed, but it's actually an algae.

The room was spacious and beautiful. The view was amazing. The parking was tight, and you had to wait on someone to leave if you came in after 10pm. At one point the gate pin pad would not work from the beach side and the water hose quit working to wash off your feet and floats. Other than those 3 things, we would definitely recommend Aquavista.

BTW - all issues were informed to property manager with no help or solution to fix. • No kitchen light. • Dirty shower curtains • Unusable bed due to busted mattress • Very little cutlery • Wrong codes to access beach Again, if you just need a place to stay, it works. It’s on the beach with a fantastic view and the pool was great. If you need every bed, bring a blow up because one of the twin bed mattresses literally had a dip, slant, and spring poking you. My son fell off the bed the first night (when we didn’t realize what was wrong) because of the slant.
