Its a nice location- great condo- needs A LOT of updatesWe arent fancy people so it worked for us- Having said that- the front door/door frame desperately needs replaced! Its rotten at the bottom and side and gets stuck and does not shut properly- we just use the deadbolt- one of the pillows has blood stains on it inside the pillow case- we don't use them- and brought ours but that is gross and needs to be addressed! The kitchen needs updated materials to cook with- there are no oven mits! The bedroom door will not open- its stuck- the long blinds in the living room are all either broken or dont work- we leave them open so its not issue for US but probably for others! The toilets barely flush- needs addressed! Zero water pressure in either shower! Yes we will be back but please look at and address these health and safety issues!! ALL OF THEM! Thanks

Family vacay

This property is very outdated needs a lot of work sliding glass door is hard to open blinds are broken all light fixtures are out dated there’s not even a light in bedroom just lamp pitiful for what the price to rent .kitchen needs silverware and cooking utensils and potholders and dish towels these are just a few things there’s plenty more!!The air conditioning went out and we called and text to no response till the next day we had to buy fans just to be able to sleep when they did respond it took 5 hours before someone came out to fix it the lack of communication is unacceptable I requested some of our money back and of course I didn’t get a response don’t waste your money on this unit it’s horrible

Old and Filthy

While the Edgewater property was convenient and we enjoyed the beaches and the main pool by Tower 1, our specific condo was FILTHY. It was outdated, contained stained carpet, broken vertical blinds that needed serious attention, mold in the ceiling and walls, as well as broken lamps, dirty walls and many closets used as storage for broken pictures, assuming that once hung on the walls, as well as random broken vertical blinds stored under the bed on the bedroom. The main door looked like it had been broken into at one point and the furniture was stained, musty and unkempt.The furniture in the main bedroom was dusty, and quite honestly, we had a hard time with the musty smell of the place. My daughter awoke each morning with swollen eyes from the dust and mold.We spent majority of our time away from the condo and did not use the kitchen. Only the refrigerator and occasionally the microwave.We are very disappointed in the descriptions given in VRBO versus the reality of the place. We had many friends that also stayed in the same building and were very satisfied with their condos. This one was unfortunately not one of them.Thank goodness there were other restaurants and activities nearby. We will not be returning to this specific unit and quite possibly not returning to the entire property.We are very disappointed and do not recommend.

Stained carpet throughout the entire unit.

Entrance. Lock etc. the mirror (?) on the back of the door was damaged and dirty as well.

Affordable last minute vacation

Had to make arrangements quickly for a 2 week stay after the 2 hurricanes left our spot in Pinellas county destroyed. Affordable and super easy process for us. Amazing amenities close by and our unit had everything we needed. Slightly dated decor but we didn’t care. It was very clean and owners were a pleasure to deal with. The price for a spot on the beach can’t be beat! We will be back

Edgewater

The condo was comfortable but needs some upgrading such as new blinds, the ones in the MB would not pull all the way closed nor the ones in the living room area. Needs new painting and upgraded furniture. MB bed was very comfortable and the dogs sleeper was comfortable too once we put the eggshell mattress on it.

Great location...But, no ice maker, no broom or dustpan, broken glass on closet door, only 5 or 6 slats on the shades,the old shades were under the bed & in front closet, Man entered our room with out text or call, so we kept dead bolt turned, employee he was..needs a full undate, so disappointed unplug or lightbulb

Perfect for our trip.

Perfect for the short trip we had and the value was worth it. The property itself is a maze to get to but we managed. Listing definitely needs some updating, but it does the job of a small getaway.

Do not waste your time or money!! Was not safe, clean or updated! To any issues to list.

So many issues the first day. Blind slats are missing so you cant even use. Everything was dusty and looks like whoever cleans only dusts the front portion and leaves the rest, it smelled like mildew when we arrived. The thermostat was not working and was 78 degrees. The lighting is terrible. Barely any light in the living room and the lightbulbs/lighting in the dining area you are pretty much sitting on the dark(someone should have replaced these bulbs)! Tried to run a bath and the water was warm for 1-2 mins and then went cold. Waited about 10 mins and tried again it was warm for about 1 mins and went cold again, neither bathroom the water gets hot just luke warm! For a unit that is for 4 people how is anyone suppose to take a bath or shower with hot water that runs out in 1-2 minutes? We all come in from the beach for dinner at the same time, we will never get to dinner with this crappy water situation. We have stayed at Edgewater before and it’s never been this bad. This is by far the worst kept condo I’ve ever stayed in. It’s bad when you go on vacation and feel dirty in your room. Not to mention having to wear house shoes everywhere because you don’t want to walk barefoot on the nasty carpet. It took me hounding someone to come fix the AC and they let a company come in without my knowledge and gave them the code to my room and no one from the listing company was with them. Felt super unsafe especially when I had teenagers with me. The ceiling tiles were falling etc

Awesome Stay

We had a great time! The condo was exactly as described, we had everything we needed with a beautiful beach view and a few minute walk. It was hard to leave and we can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful view, needs TLC

When I stay somewhere I like to keep the place clean and we’ll kept. The place has NO cleaning supplies, not even a broom and dust pan. How do you expect guests to treat your rental with respect if you can’t even provide a broom or windex, as most of the condo is mirrored. The pictures were hanging side ways, the bed is about to fall apart and wallpaper is very very old and the carpet is terrible. Half the blinds are missing, which means when it is midday and the sun is beating through the window you have no shade and it gets HOT. The view is to die for but the condo really needs some TLC. Would absolutely love to come back once these small issues are fixed. The rental company was SO nice and I enjoyed my stay other than these small issues. Thank you!

Nothing to brag about

Well I have stayed at Edgewater Beach resort many times over the years. I have always been happy with my accomodations and the resort property. I have to say that although I enjoyed my stay at the beach resort, my unit was outdated, needed some maintenance attention and was disappointing. Window Blinds... most are missing and are all balled up on the closet floor... Buy some new blinds, white sheers curtains, something. The ceiling tiles are old, faded, discolored, damaged. There are about 4 different kinds of old tiles up there, plus the ceiling tile framework is rusted. The carpet is old, dirty, matted and musty. Has major issues with wifi and just connecting to watch Roku TV... poor connections, I gave up on the bedroom TV. The owner definitely has not been there in decades or just doesn't care and has no pride in there property. This unit is definitely NOTHING TO BRAG ABOUT!

DON'T DON'T DON'T DON'T STAY HERE. AVOID!!!!!! Stay somewhere else.

STAY AWAY! NO ONE one cares about this place & it shows. The hall bathroom vanity is ROTTEN & NEEDS to be removed and replaced! I have pictures! The toilet paper holder is loose & does not hold the paper. The bathroom accessories need replacing. Paint rubbed off and disgusting. The hall closet is FULL of crap and completely unusable by guests! Forget using it! Blinds are MISSING slats in living room and bedroom. They are actually on the floor of the bedroom closet crumpled. The top of one of the blind covering is shoved under the bed! The mattress has a hump across the top of it. The dryer took three dryer cycles to get three beach towels dry. The main bathroom faucets leak. The tub faucet DRIPS constantly!!!!! The sink faucet leaks from the handle water pools at the back/top of the sink. It DESPERATELY needs replacing! You have to wrestle it on & off. The main bathroom vanity is in need of tlc as well. Water damage and warping are beginning at the base beside the toilet. The toilet barely flushed with just pee. Sometimes took three flushes. The kitchen DESPERATELY needs a new dishwasher. It has to be from 1990's. Does not have an upper washer arm. If you want clean dishes, use the bottom rack. The drawers STUNK and some dishes has food residue. We had to run a wash cycle for the silverware, dishes and glasses before using them. ZERO RESPONSE from property manager! We left EARLY!!! DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!! Also, the neighbors smoked weed. Filled the condo&balcony. Non-smoking

We absolutely loved this condo! Great view! Super clean, blinds do need replaced but we leave them open anyway so that is not a problem for us at all! Horrible Condo and owner

When you open the door, you smell a musty type of order. The ice maker does not work after I had asked about it before we checked. I was told it was working. The bathtubs back up when you are taking a shower. We had to pick up trash. The bed rails are covered in dust. The bathroom fixture are green due to age. The kitchen cabinets are fifty. The mold has started growing back in the bathrooms. Not on the tiles, but on the strips. The blinds do not work. The owner got back in touch with me one time. After that they would not respond. The condo has shag carpet. Do NOT rent this condo!! If anyone is interested in trying to get some or all of your money back, send me a email at Windardunit504@yahoo.com
