Grey House in Zisa by Wonderful Italy

Beautiful and bright design apartment with terrace, in the Zisa district of Palermo.

The apartment, on the third floor of a building without elevator, is furnished in a modern style with design furniture in contrast to the building that houses it, which has not been renovated. The entrance opens to a single room with a sofa, dining table and fully-equipped open kitchen. A sliding glass door separates the living area from the bedroom, which features a queen-size bed, a TV and a balcony. Some stairs lead to the upper floor, complete with a relaxation area, a toilet and two terraces furnished with sofas and an unheated bathtub, which can be used in summer to cool off during the hottest days. A bathroom with shower and a laundry room complete the layout.

Amenities such as air conditioning, heating with heat pump, washing machine, and iron are available to guests.

The property has nice features, however, these were drastically impacted by the presence of bed bugs. The company that runs the property was slow to respond on the matter. We had to end up staying elsewhere. The apartment is at the top of a narrow stairwell so it’s worth keeping in mind in case of small children and any access needs. Location is quite residential but walking distance to the centre. The balcony’s and the bath on the balcony is a highlight.
