"Hotel needed a good cleaning in the common areas. The carpeting was dirty, and it looked like the place was very poorly taken care of. The room itself was clean and much better than the common areas. The shower had no hot water at first until someone in the front desk. Explain there’s a “trick” to it in the way you use the handle. Kind of silly for a hotel to have a trick like that needed. ‘Curb appeal’ of the hotel was totally lacking. No ice available and the little ‘shop’ had very little in...

"My stay at Sonesta Bee Cave was pretty underwhelming. The room was very small and did not have any overhead lighting, which caused it to be very dark from evening onwards. I went to use the provided room iron, and there was a substance that had been burnt onto the iron that got on my dress. I requested a new iron, and the front desk staff informed me that they would be happy to provide a steamer in addition to the iron. The iron was replaced but the maid did not bring a steamer. I went to the...

"I was traveling to Marble Falls for a meeting, and my wife went with me. I called ahead to see if we could check in early so that my wife could relax in the room while I went to my meeting. Jennifer was wonderful and told us that we could check in a couple of hours early. We had a room with a beautiful view of the lake waiting for us when we got there. Jennifer also gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner later that night. Later, while after I'd left for my meeting, Jennifer called the...

I went to one called the Homestead which was great. If I'm lucky enough to come back to Dripping Springs, I will surely stay at the Outpost Motel"
