The Pink Beach Bungalow is a bright, light bungalow with lots of large windows providing breath-taking sea and coastal views. This Devon holiday home has a spacious private garden at the rear and on street parking at the front.
Broadsands beach, a 2025 blue flag awarded beach, is a short walk away. The holiday bungalow is an ideal place to relax admiring the sea views, watching the steam trains go by or to venture further afield to Brixham, Dartmouth or the South Hams. An ideal location for those who admire long coastal walks, as the house is situated just a few hundred yards away from the South West Coastal Path.
What impresses you most when you walk into the front living room, is the size of the picture window and the amazingly wide panoramic views across Broadsands beach, the 9 hole 'Pitch & Putt' golf course and the whole of Torbay stretching out beyond in the distance.
The spacious kitchen/diner fitted with pale 'shaker style' units has all the modern conveniences with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine with coffee pods & a washing machine. The back door next to the fridge, leads out onto a sunny patio and the slightly sloping sunny garden rising up above. The tiered rear garden invites guests to enjoy alfresco dining. The outside dining area gains all the afternoon sun and even in the colder months it's sheltered spot, means you can still enjoy a glass of wine or afternoon tea in the fresh air. There is a nice spot on the top of the garden boasting magnificent views of Torbay including Broadsands Beach and the steam train.
Although this is a bungalow there are steps leading up to the front and back doors. It would not be suitable for anyone who uses a wheelchair or has any mobility issues.
The lounge is furnished with three piece suite, coffee table, electric fireplace and a Smart HD TV (sports channels included) and enjoys fabulous panoramic sea views.
Complimentary Wi-Fi has also been included for guests’ convenience.
Leading through the hallway, beyond the front door, there is a is a shower room & toilet. The king master bedroom, with fabulous sea views, is furnished with plenty of wardrobe space, drawers and dressing table. Waking up here is a fairly unique as one can take in the panoramic views, without even leaving the bed.
Next to the master bedroom is a double bedroom with wardrobe & drawers and a 3rd twin bedroom next door, both with views over the rear garden.
Next to the twin bedroom is the very attractive family bathroom with roomy L-shaped bath & shower over with glass shower screen plus a contemporary sink, toilet and large mirror with lights surrounding.
Outside there is roadside parking available for guests. (We advise not parking on the driveway as this is steep). Once parked up, it's just a short stroll to the delights of Broadsands Beach, as well as a selection of excellent local shops, as well as a bus stop to explore nearby Brixham and Paignton.
The Marine Conservation Good Beach Guide lists Broadsands Beach amongst its top recommended beaches Elberry cove is an idyllic, pretty pebble beach with beautiful clear water. It can be reached by a footpath from the house that goes through a field or two.
Notes: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250, which is payable with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
