  • Small guest cabin approximately 15 minutes south of downtown Pagosa Springs. Cabin sits on 5 acres of beautiful horse pasture, with big mountain views to the east, national forest across the driveway, and private access to the Blanco River. There are 2 bedrooms. One has a queen bed, and the other has bunk beds. BBQ grill. Fire pit(s) . Swimming Hole. C&R fishing. Pets are welcome, but NO aggressive dogs please!! Horses are also allowed as there is a full pasture available for equestrian friends. Full kitchen. STARLINK WIFI!!! 35 minutes from Wolf Creek, no downtown Pagosa traffic!! 15 minutes from downtown Pagosa. 48" Flatscreen HDTV with DirecTV. Firewood and kindling supplied. Beautiful setting. Blackout curtains in both bedrooms.

The property and the host, Chris, were both outstanding. The location was great. It's far enough out of town to be nice and quiet, but close enough to drive up there every day if you want. Our great dane and boxer both loved the space inside and outside. As a bonus, they even got to play with Chris's awesome dog, Boots, on several occasions. The river is a short walk from The Barn, and we went down there almost every day. It was so relaxing and fun. It was nice just to sit down by the river with the dogs and listen to the water. We didn't fish or swim, but we easily could have done so right at the river pavilion. The inside space of The Barn itself is bigger than it seems in the pictures and worked well for me, my wife, and our two large dogs. We didn't even need the second bedroom with the bunk beds. We highly recommend this listing. Thanks so much for the great time Chris and Boots!

Oh my goodness. Best vacation rental I have ever rented. 100/100 would recommend. AMAZING. Everything I dreamed of and more. Perfectly clean. Pristine. River is better than the pictures. Beds were so comfortable. Host was out of this world responsive and friendly. Location was incredible.

Very pet friendly, host Chris is friendly and accommodating. The Barn was clean, cozy, really the right amount of space for us( a couple and dog). The area is beautiful, the stars are plentiful and the river access is very relaxing with the sounds of the water.

We loved the “barn”! The house and the surrounding property were clean and so beautiful. The river, the stars at night, the peaceful quiet and the hummingbirds were our favorites! We would be so delighted to stay there again. Relaxing, accommodating, had everything we needed for a peaceful Labor Day weekend with family.

Just what we were looking for!

The Barn met all our needs. Good location for all the things we wanted to do. Host was very accommodating and he has great knowledge of the area. A quiet and safe place with a short walk down to a nice deck on the river for relaxing after a long day. Thank you Chris for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay.

WiFi is nice because otherwise there’s no service. Not too far from Pagosa Springs. Really pretty. Cabin is a cute little set up. Chris was great with communication and made himself very available in case any needs came up.

Absolutely loved our stay at this cabin in Pagosa Springs! From the moment we arrived, it felt like we’d found a hidden gem. Chris, the property owner, is truly one of a kind, welcoming, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about making sure guests have an unforgettable experience. The views were unreal in every direction, the kind that make you stop mid conversation just to stare. At night, the stars were stunning, no light pollution, just endless sky. The privacy was perfect, peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we were hoping for. And the river was incredible. It was absolutely beautiful running through the property, even if it was ice cold this time of year. Still, it added so much magic to the place. We are already talking about coming back this summer so we can fully soak in the beauty of the property and actually swim in the river. Can’t recommend this cabin or Chris enough. This is the kind of place you keep thinking about long after you leave.
