  • Escape to the Chic Beach Shack, a cozy, pet-friendly bungalow just a two-minute walk from Silver Strand. This soulful, sun-filled home blends vintage beach charm with modern comfort and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Perfect for families and guests traveling with dogs, the nearly beachfront Chic Shack is known for its huge private backyard, fire pit dinners, and the feeling that time slows down the moment you arrive.



    **Booking process - IMPORTANT!

    - After booking, you will immediately receive a message asking you to confirm your reservation and digitally sign our occupancy agreement. Please do not forget - by sigining, you trigger your check-in information. If you do not sign the agreement, you will not receive your check-in infomation.

    - Once signed, you will be emailed a link to your GUEST PORTAL, where all important information lives, including check-in details, WiFi, and local recommendations.

Very pet friendly. All the amenities. We wanted for nothing. We would absolutely stay here again. Perfect for our small family. Easy to walk to beach and close to the less busy side of the beach.

Nice location to Silver Strand Beach and a good amount of space even with a small footprint. I was excited about having the hot tub but despite communications since checkin in about it not functioning, it only was repaired until the last evening of our stay, which was disappointing. The point of contact was accessible, but follow up on queries was slow.

Excellent Beach Cottage

Terrific location to the beach and overall a perfect property for a “get away from it all”. Very nice back area with a fire pit, grill and BBQ. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay. The place was cute, clean, and comfortable. It was perfect for our family of three and our small dog. We plan to book again for our future quick getaway.

Rented the Chic Beach Shack for a month while my mom recovered from surgery and the place was perfect. Very close to the beach although to get a view of the ocean you have to walk across the sand as it is not just a straight even shot. Lisa’s place had everything we needed to relax and recover. The backyard was spacious and nicely put together for calm evenings. This property is exactly what it’s listed as, Chic Beach Shack. Definitely not a high end squeaky clean new property but was perfect for a cozy stay. AC units in all rooms were a huge plus as it did get stuffy and warm in May/June. My two small dogs loved their stay here as well! Very cute neighborhood with a friendly neighborhood bar. Lisa and team were very accommodating and quickly responded to all our needs.

Perfect Cozy Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful stay! The house is perfectly situated to enjoy Oxnard’s stunning beaches and harbor, and a reasonable drive to all of the other towns we explored (Ventura, Ojai and Santa Barbara). The house was perfect for the 3 of us, had plenty of space on the back patio and was very cozy. Definitely would stay here again!

Great place!

We really enjoyed staying at this cute beach cottage. From the beach vibe decorations to great built in bbq to the 2 minute walk to the beach, it all added up to a relaxed, calm vacation. Lisa and her team offered such a personal touch, lots of communication, which is much appreciated!

Ideal local beach getaway

This was our second time staying at Chic Beach Shack. It’s a very comfortable space for a small family and a dog. The location can’t be beat, just steps from one of the best beaches in SoCal. We can’t wait to return!

Awesome house close to the beach!

We drove from AZ to have a beach getaway with our whole family and this place did not disappoint! The backyard was our favorite hangout spot! What an awesome vacation! 10/10, would recommend! We will be coming back!

A little home away from home

Great place to reset and unwind! Steps from the beach, shopping only minutes away, and very nice locals. The house has everything you could possibly need, even down to coffee and creamer. Would highly recommend!

Lovely chic beach house, clean and cute with nice outdoor dining space. Back deck was perfect for reading and playing board games/cards. Great location and gorgeous, huge beach. Great for surfing and boogie boarding! Great waves.
