The Modern Lakehouse

This modern lakehouse is situated on Hogan Pond in Oxford Maine. Here you can stay with all the comforts of a beautiful lakehouse built in 2020 while being feet from the water. This is a great place to vacation whether you prefer the private sandy beach, the A/C inside complete with Smart TV cable and Wifi, or the hottub! Sip a drink at the bar while watching the game or use the grill on the deck but be sure to use the built in sound system to play your music throughout the house and deck.
Hogan Pond is a beautiful body of water 45 minutes from Portland. Take a kayak through the channel on the north end to see painter and snapping turtles, the channel leads you to it's sister pond Whitney. Hogan and Whitney also have no public boat launch adding to the privacy. A great place for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Take a walk or bring your bike down the quiet beautiful dead end road, that has cozy cottages and more lake views. Sit on the beach and observe Maine's wildlife; whether it's Ospreys and Bald Eagles in the trees or Loons and the Great Blue Heron in the water. While away from it all you are 10 mins from the nearest Walmart, and Hannaford only 6 mins. Checkout our local craft brewery at Oxbow or catch a race at the Oxford plains speedway. Bike Mount Abram in the Summer, Ski in the winter only 40 mins away. Come winter time you can ice-fish, sled down to the lake, skate the ice (bring your skates), or even book a dog sledding day trip!
