First-floor 3-bedroom condo at gated Windsor Palms, 5 miles to Disney

A three-bedroom, two-bathroom condo on the first floor at gated Windsor Palms Resort in Kissimmee, about 5 miles from Disney’s Animal Kingdom and 8 miles from Magic Kingdom. It sleeps 7, and the resort clubhouse, with its large pool, spa, splash pad, tiki bar, movie theater, and arcade, is a 4-minute walk.

THE CONDO
The condo is on the first floor, so you don't have to carry bags and strollers upstairs. The living room has a leather sectional and a 50-inch TV, and it opens onto a screened patio with chairs. The dining table seats four.

BEDROOMS
Bedroom 1: queen bed, with its own private bathroom
Bedroom 2: bunk bed with a twin on top and a full below, sleeps 3
Bedroom 3: queen bed
There are TVs in Bedrooms 1 and 3. The second full bathroom is off the hall.

KITCHEN AND LAUNDRY
The galley kitchen has granite counters, a range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster, with a pass-through to the dining area. A washer and dryer are in the condo. Wi-Fi is included.

WINDSOR PALMS RESORT
The resort clubhouse has a large pool, a spa, and a children’s splash pad, the Oasis Tiki Bar & Grill, a sundry shop, a movie theater, an arcade with billiards, a fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, a basketball court, sand volleyball, and a children’s playground. Windsor Palms is a 24-hour gated community, and the clubhouse is about 0.2 miles from the condo.

GETTING AROUND
By car, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is about 13 minutes away, Magic Kingdom about 17 minutes, and Universal Orlando about 33 minutes. Walmart Supercenter is about 8 minutes away, and Orlando International Airport is about 28 minutes. You will want a car.

GOOD TO KNOW
You let yourselves in with a private door code, which we send you before you arrive. You arrive to a starter supply of coffee, soap, shampoo and conditioner, dishwasher tabs, laundry pods, trash bags, and bathroom tissue. Pool towels and sports equipment are available at the clubhouse sundry shop for a refundable deposit.
