Filthy Unkept Property
My family and friends have been vacationing in the Kissimmee/Orlando area for many years. We have previously booked our vacation homes through other rental agencies and have always been highly satisfied with our homes in reunion, Champions Gate, and Westgate. We decided to try VRBO this year. We all flew in from New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Chicago. We were so embarrassed and disappointed in the home when we arrived, as we noticed an odor as soon as we walked in We could never recommend your agency. I reached out to your agency prior to coming this week as I was concerned about 1 Star review. I was assured that this property was in optimal condition and would be a pleasure to stay in. The home was rated 4.8 STARS. That is a complete misrepresentation of the home. It is unacceptable for my husband and I and our guests. My husband and several of our guest are 55+ and have various health conditions and disabilities. Therefore, they will be spending the majority of their time in the home. It’s important that we have a home that meets our vacation resort standards. We left a message last night informing customer service of our concerns. We selected 2155 Tripoli Court through your website. The photos showed the property as a beautiful, upscale vacation home that fit our criteria. Upon arrival we were horrified at the condition of the home and the smell of mildew. We all have allergies health conditions. For starters, the home was not clean.. The furniture was not white leather but black fabric. In stead of a bright and airy décor, it is dark and dreary. The home is poorly maintained and dirty. The bathroom toilets are stained and obviously old and need to be replaced and were not even sanitized. There was a used bar of soap left in one of the bathrooms. The baseboards and walls are filthy. Food particles were on the table between the glass and table, which lead to us questioning the overall sanitation of the home in this COVID-19 environment. The linens and pillows were all stained, low quality and dingy. They did not appear to be fresh or changed. We found bugs wrapped up in one moist towels, which were not dried. The towel was on the bed upon arrival with the bug . My husband and I and my guest all had to strip their beds and wash the bedding. Other guess had to go out and purchase suitable sheets for their rooms, including me. We saved our receipts. The towels and bath cloths were damp and worn. Too many issues to Summarize.
