Family and friends are everything. When we set out to put this home together, we wanted to be sure it was perfectly suited for gathering, conversation, fun and most importantly, making memories.

Newly remodeled in 2023, and professionally designed by the well-known Jordan Gottsacker of Honey and Ace, The Sandwood Cottage will help you relax, unwind, and strengthen those familial bonds and friendships.

Our cottage home stands just 500 feet from the beaches of Lake Michigan which will provide hours of entertainment and enjoyment for everyone. The Sandwood Cottage boasts modern amenities and stylish decor throughout. You will find it fully furnished with every upgrade you could ask for, including an ARCADE and Ping-Pong Table, 55” Smart HDTV’s in the living room and loft room, high speed Starlink WiFi, Wood Burning Firepit, Quartz Countertops, High-End Cafe Collection Stainless Steel Appliances, Luxury Furnishings & Mattresses, Huge Gathering Table, Lovely Banquette with Wooded Views, R/O Water Drinking Station, Keurig and Ninja Coffee Bar, Completely Stocked Kitchen for Cooking, Weber Grill, Beach Chairs, Sand Toys and so much more.

The floor plan is spacious, yet purpose built with each detail creating the perfect mix between functionality and seclusion for each guest. The space features 4 bedroom spaces, two and a half baths with two master suites with king beds and one queen bed room. The fourth bedroom is a large open loft area complete with a second living room for the kids to hang out and have their own space and four twin beds.


Did we mention the Arcade? The basement is another perfectly appointed space complete with SEVEN Classic Arcade Games like Pac-Man, NFL Blitz, NBA Jam, Golden Tee and many more. It is rounded out with a full size tournament Ping-Pong table and comfortable seating area, making it the perfect spot for family game nights or a place for the kids (or husbands) to just get away.

The Sandwood Cottage is another perfect location for golfers, racers, hikers, bikers, & other outdoor enthusiasts. You can catch the sunrise on the beach, traverse the stunning sand dunes at Kohler Dunes State Natural Area, catch some surfers in Downtown Sheboygan knowns as the “Malibu of the Midwest,” play golf or hit the 3.5 mile Parnell Tower Trail and climb the 60 foot wooden Observation Tower.

After requesting your reservation, you will receive a notification and link to complete our Rental Agreement, confirming the terms and conditions of your stay at The Sandwood Cottage, as well as the refundable security deposit, which you will be able to execute and set up digitally.

The Sandwood Cottage is located in an incredibly quiet neighborhood with nearby neighbors who like it that way. Please observe quiet hours during your stay from 10pm-7am daily. We absolutely want our guests to have a great time, but ending any outdoor fires and moving inside with the doors closed at quiet time is the easiest way to avoid hearing from us.

Guest access
Parking for up to four cars is available on-site. Two in the garage and two in the driveway.

Other things to note
* The arcade games are an amenity and while we will make every effort to insure properly working and operational games, this cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, we cannot offer cancellation or discounts should the games or any other amenity not be in perfect working order.

Required Disclosures:

There is a Nest Hello Doorbell, which records video and sound, located at the front door facing the porch and driveway to communicate with folks such as delivery drivers. It is also used to ensure guest capacity and the four-car max rule is followed.

There is also a NoiseAware monitoring system installed that monitors for loud noise (does not record) during quiet hours for ordinance compliance purposes. This is simply to avoid loud parties and blaring music that could disturb neighbors.
