It rained most of the weekend so we did not get to spend much time outside.I am sure it’s quite lovely in the summertime. The cabin is cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The water view is amazing. We enjoyed it.

The cottage was super-clean and had a great view of the inlet. We watched the birds feed every morning, including a heron. Kitchen was well-stocked and we had everything we needed. We wish we lived closer, as we would definitely book this property again!

We had a great time in this lovely house. So peaceful, watching the wildlife and the tides. We enjoyed the kayaks and stand up paddle boards. Great location convenient to downtown Olympia (20 minutes). The place was comfortable, cute and clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Thank you!

My family loved our stay at this cabin. First of all the location and views are amazing! Yes, there are stairs to get down to the cabin and also to the beach but well worth it if you are mobile. We loved the cabin with cute kitchen with views of the water from the dining room/kitchen and living room. We hope to go back again next year!

The views from this property are breathtaking. Whether sitting by the water, on the deck or at the large windows this property has views that give you a soothing feel and melt your troubles away. If you love wildlife, you can observe many species at your doorstep. We were very pleased with our stay. Home was very clean and inviting to its arriving guests.

Our stay was exactly what we hoped for. The location was perfection and the home spotless and just as advertised. I often appreciate reviews that give me a heads up about mattress quality, so I’ll share that both beds are pretty soft. Also, don’t disregard the note about access being restricted—if you have mobility issues, the staircase down to the house is fairly treacherous. But if you’re able to take advantage of this home, you won’t be disappointed!

The views were stunning and we enjoyed watching the birds and critters as the tides shifted. The accommodations are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the kayaks and the ease of access to the water. The location is quiet and beautiful, both sunny and well-shaded. I hope to come back again someday.

This is my second time staying here. It’s a beautiful spot and very, very private. Kayaks and paddle boards are provided which is great… no loading and unloading. Just put them in the water and you are off enjoying the beautiful scenery. The host is great and if you have any issues they are there shortly taking care of it. It is a bit of a steep grade getting down to the cabin but if you don’t have any physical conditions it’s well worth it. I will be returning :)

Above and beyond our expectations. The communication was seamless. The Cottage was spotless! We love all the seating areas inside and out. We watched seals playing, duck families swimming, many different bird species and maybe an otter?? Front row seats to the best entertainment I have seen. Do not forget to catch a sunrise. This was a great rental for being right by the water with spectacular views all around and very quiet and peaceful with the location of other houses far enough away that the privacy was amazing! I would absolutely stay here again!

Unique view, great tide and bird watching. Everything perfect but the TV monitor colors messed up, that should be fixed asap. The kitchen is OK with all the needed tools. The two mini heaters had accumulated dust on the fan. The car port has no power plug and there is no way to charge an EV. Overall close to great experience. Good deal for 2 couple during off season. Too many couches/sofa in the living room, why those many?...

This is a beautiful 2BR cottage right on the water. It was decorated for the holiday including having a tree. We only had 1 morning we watched the sunrise as it was raining or snowing the rest of the time. The kitchen was well appointed with everything needed for meals. There is lots of seating inside and out. We were supposed to be a party of 4 but covid fear kept 2 from coming. It was too big for just 2. The location is great. It was easy to get to downtown Olympia or the casino in Shelton and to I5 to head for Seattle or Sea-Tac. I wouldn't recommend this if someone has problems with stairs as there are 30 steps down to the front door. If you go in December I highly recommend going to Zoo Lights at the Point Defiant zoo.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The place was as described but included so many extra touches that made the stay extra special, including marshmallow sticks, kayaks, life vests of varying sizes, laundry soap, coffee, games and list goes on. Great selection of pots and pans for cooking too. Felt like home for a week. The beach was so great too with lots of opportunities for exploring sea life. The neighbors were also so nice! My daughters didn’t want to leave. We hope to be back!

The home was lovely and clean. The property manager was extremely responsive to a couple of minor issues and went above and beyond when my husband left and item behind. I thoroughly enjoyed the view and the birds and seals. We'll definitely be back!

We had a lovely long weekend in this charming cottage on stunning Puget Sound. I know there were neighbors, but the situation of the property feels very private, we could have been the only people around. We saw a sea otter swim right up to the beach and then watched him swim all around from the comfort of the cozy kitchen with 180 views of the water. Later a red fox stretched his muscles just a little way down the beach. Our final brush with wildlife happened when a bald eagle swooped right down at the end of the deck and picked up some critter. The bedding was very comfortable. The towels were soft and fluffy. There is only one bathroom, but we worked that out just fine. The kitchen is small but the pans and dishes are plentiful and of good quality. The gas fireplace and giant TV are there for when the sun goes down and you tear yourself away from the view. The outdoor fire pit was a perfect way to enjoy a February afternoon with a couple of family members. We will return!

I wanted to find someplace for my son and I to enjoy some time away from home while he was on mid-winter break from school and feel so fortunate to have found this lovely 1940's beach cabin. It was perfect for what we were looking for--something waterside with a beautiful view, peaceful with outside space so that we could wander freely and not have to wear a mask. Waking up facing east, you're greeted with the sun rising and ducks going about their morning routines. There is a little deck over the water that was perfect for lounging or one morning, I did yoga. The small stretch of beach was enough for me and my six year old to skip rocks, save clams from being bird food and beachcombing. The kayaks were fun too! All in all, a wonderful stay with gracious hosts. I look forward to returning.
