Please note: This property is located across from the train tracks. Trains occasionally pass through Old Orchard Beach, which may be audible from the property.

The house is adorable. Very clean and comfortable. It was in a great location and it was quiet. I saw someone comment about the trains going by. We loved it. It really wasn't disruptive at all. Kinda fun actually! The kitchen was great! We didn't do any cooking, however, if we wanted to make a meal, everything was there we would need. We did have coffee and the host makes sure there are many options. The kitchen has beautiful appliances and space. The back bedroom has the most comfortable mattress! Slept well for sure. The family room was comfy. We didn't spend much time at the house as we really were there for the beach. It's super close and the house has so many beach items too. The backyard is fully fenced, wonderful for dogs or kids. It was beautiful, with all of the trees changing color. The deck was awesome. If we come to the area we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

This vacation was a much needed getaway and a great location for walking to the beach, driving through the countryside to Mt. Washington and for meandering along the coast to Acadia National Park. We wanted a location for day tripping and this was perfect!!!My little Texas Heeler enjoyed being able to run around in the fenced yard after long drives and I felt at ease knowing she was happy too.Although the listening doesn't indicate the 1/2 bath in one of the bedrooms, it was perfect for my Mom and Step-dad.

Overall we enjoyed the stay, and had good communication with the host. Property is close to everything, has alot of parking and a nice fenced in back yard. House was nice and fit 4 adults and 2 dogs comfortably. The place has 1.5 baths but lacks storage for clothes/luggage. It is advertised with 2 queen beds but one room only had a full bed which was small for 2 adults.

The house is easy to get to and literally is within walking distance of the beach. The fenced yard and deck were perfect for us and our dog. The floors were all wet when we arrived, toilets had dirt and mop water in them, bathroom smelled of cat urine and linens were drying in the dryer. There were other linens available in the half bath, and having the half bath was a nice surprise. We had to call for plumbing help for the shower, and the cleaning person was very responsive. The wifi does not work so we spent some time at Dunkin Donuts to send work documents using their internet. All in all a pleasant stay but not a luxury home, esp for the high price.

Wonderful Location Home

We would highly recommend this home!! Communication in advance of our stay was great and the house itself was exactly what we were looking for - cozy, clean and spacious. I'm usually a little iffy on using the kitchen space in rentals but this kitchen was absolutely spotless and had all the conveniences we needed.The location is just a few minutes walk from the beach, mini golf and the pier and the house has a big fenced backyard that was perfect for our dog. The weather didn't cooperate with us sitting outside for long, but it's an unusually private and quiet backyard for OOB - especially given it's central location.We can't wait to come back!

Beware

Property is not “as advertised”. There is one closet in one of the bedrooms and one dresser. Closet and dresser are filled with linens so not available for guests. There is no closet or chest of drawers in the 2nd bedroom. The house is cute enough but not clean and in disrepair. There are slats missing from the blinds, paint is peeling off of the bathroom cabinet and there is a door handle missing from one of the bedroom doors. The kitchen is lacking. There is not even a full set of measuring cups in the “sophisticated” kitchen. We were locked out of the property at one point - which we acknowledged was our fault - however it took almost 2 hours for the “emergency” on-call person to call us back. The wind chill was 20. Convenient location however there are train tracks across the street and the train runs frequently. It was not a problem for us - especially in light of the more serious problems with this property.

Lovely family-friendly location

Clean, easy check-in, good location with a lot of amenities provided including a well-equipped kitchen. We stayed off-season but this would be a lovely place to stay during the peak season as it's close to the beach/attractions but also private with a nice sized fenced yard.

Short stay at bright convenient clean cottage

Property was perfect size for us to stay with our dog and baby. The place is brightly painted and fun, conveniently located near the beach and pier, and it was very clean
