"I decided to stay at the Bluemont based on prior reviews and wanting to support and independent business. My mistake. While the room was spacious and the location of the hotel, excellent, my money would have been better spent at one of the local Aggiville chain hotels. The staff was Luke warm at best, the parking overpriced, the gym laughable, the walls paper thin to easily hear your neighbors, and the hot water pressure was just over a trickle. Let me be clear - I was barely able to get enough...

"Location is great, as it overlooks a park. Unfortunately, there are smokers who are able to gain access to lobby and front entrance areas. Build up of cigarette butts is excessive."

"The room was clean, but the soap and conditioner bottles in the shower were both empty, we didn't bring any this time because they provided it the last time we stayed, the thermostat needed batteries, kept flashing low battery the whole time other than those problems everything was good"

"The place was old and big and getting to and from the rooms was quite confusing. The pool was good. There was a huge empty space in the middle of the hotel which made the place feel unwelcoming. Rooms were big and beds were comfortable."

Happy about that what happened with check in must have been a fluke because I have never had this issue at any Hampton Inn locations."
