With a great view of the pond, this two-story 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath end townhome is in a great location within The Village at Bear Trap Dunes golf resort community. At approximately 1,920 square feet, this resort getaway offers a spacious floor plan, including first and second floor master suites, open den, well equipped kitchen, screened porch and more. Central air conditioning, full size washer and dryer and more. 6 TVs (including 3 smart TVs), Netflix (courtesy of the owner), 2 DVDs, Blu-ray, gas fireplace, gas grill, Wifi. Plus, four bicycles (two adult and two kids (medium) bikes) and a bike trailer cart (courtesy items not guaranteed). Notes: This Bear Trap Dunes townhome features carpet in the bedrooms and den and hardwood in all other areas.

The Village at Bear Trap Dunes surrounds 27 holes of championship golf at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club. Just three miles to the beach, this exciting golf course community features a fantastic set of amenities, including The Village Pavilion (with indoor pool, outdoor pool, kiddie pool, exercise room, Har-Tru tennis courts, hard surface tennis court, multi-sport court and saunas for homeowners and guests), outdoor pool, playground, summer beach shuttle and clubhouse with restaurant.

Note: The Bear Trap Dunes Owners Association charges an optional per person fee for guests ages 4 and older for the use of the community’s amenities, including the in-season beach shuttle, pools, tennis and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year and is subject to change without notice. Guests that opt to purchase amenity passes MUST purchase at the Bear Trap Pavilion.

*Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The house was spacious enough for our family. The household supplies were lacking. One roll of toilet paper for three bathrooms- not many kitchen staples. It was not as clean as it should have been. Neighborhood was great and the pool was lovely. 20 minute drive to beach, which we knew when we booked.

71st bday getaway

Community is vast and lined beautifully with shade trees and flowered landscapes With the safety of sidewalks. Property easy to find and upon arrival access code did not allow entry. Immediately notified property contact and within 7 minutes had a new code and gained access (well done, Jerry!) House was very nice, bathroom fixtures a little worn and dated but fully functional. AC worked very well. Seemingly clean, but in kitchen around cabinet, drawer faces and handles obvious unclean old residue(not recently cleaned). In addition the wood floors were clean but were dusty beneath the chairs and we avoided turning on ceiling fans due to dust buildup. The coffee table was disheveled and unorganized. I resisted my urge to straighten it up. Our group was to be 5 and reduced to 4 and towel #s were fine, but we moved around hand towels and washcloths to make it work for 4 people. The dirty linen remained in a large Rubbermaid container on the front porch for our entire stay and the afternoon prior to checkout a large trash bag of new linen for turnover appeared on the front porch. Perhaps a better way to conceal this whole process. The screened in porch was wonderful but could have been cleaner (ceiling fan dirty spider webs). Would have been nice to have a ‘property specific instruction sheet’ . We had to figure out what to do with the trash, which we walked to the nearest dumpster…approx a block away. We truly had a wonderful time and would consider coming back, but next time, will call to have better cleaning if in same state upon arrival.

Property was perfect. Wish we were closer to the beach. Trolly to beach was available but got the impression it would have taken us to a beach stop not the town of Bethany by the boardwalk. Otherwise a great vacation.

Great Mini Vacation-Mother's Day

Had a great time, we have stayed here 3 times since 2019. This property is always clean, well equip with very comfortable beds. The rooms are spaced well and with two living areas and a screened porch always a place to sit and read a book whether to yourself or your grandkids. We will be back, I'm sure. One issue we did have and this can happen anywhere. Two nights while there we lost the internet. It seemed to resolve itself both times but happened in the evening while we were watching the television. No biggy just might want to check out your router, might need to be replaced. Thanks again for the use of your fantastic home

Breath Taking Home

We wanted to get away from the big apple for a weekend get away so we found this home . The house was absolutely spectacular. It was exactly as seen in the photos. Beautiful , very very very clean , in a quiet community. comfortable beds. We could not have asked for a better home for our family get away, and to spend Valentine’s Day. The children had a great time. It was like a breath of fresh air. We are looking forward to book this home again in the near future.

Thanksgiving Covid Getaway

Love this property. This is our second time staying here and we chose this house because we did not want to do our usual big family Thanksgiving due to covid. We were there with our 2 sons, daughter in law and 3 granddaughters. The house is so clean and has everything a family of 8 could want. So close to everything, Bethany, Rehoboth and Ocean City. We spent 3 full days taking in the nearby parks, enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving in your comfortable home, even went to the beach Black Friday for a walk. Love your home and we will be back. Thank You.

2nd year in Bethany

Overall very satisfied. A few things should have been better. Very dirty screened in porch and front porch areas. Dirt, cobwebs, etc. After playing for a few minutes in screened porch, socks or bare feet were black. Did not look like either area was cleaned all season. Grass was too high for grandkids to play ball, it was cut late in week, but too late since it then rained. Otherwise lovely house close to everything and priced fairly.

Perfect getaway

We had a little 3 night getaway and it was perfect! Check in process was easy and exactly as they said. The property was in the perfect location, close enough to hop in the car to get to the action and far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. Looking out onto the pond with the water feature from the screened in porch was so calming. Fishing was hard to do because of the weeds but we found an area where it would be a little easier. Tons of space for us and anything we needed to be away for a mini getaway was there. Can’t wait to come back😊

Good stay at Bear Trap

We had a good stay at Bear Trap Dunes community. The home was ready before advertised, was clean (we wiped it down again as a COVID precaution, but it was already clean when we arrived), and all amenities were as advertised, EXCEPT there was no internet. We emailed the management company and their auto-reply said they were working hard to keep up with volume and not to send repeated emails, so we didn't and I used a phone as a hotspot. Turns out we didn't hear back from the management company during our stay, which annoyed us. To the company's credit, they did finally get back to us and issued a credit to offset the cost of the phone data we used, so they tried to make it right (Hence 4 stars instead of 3). The particular property is starting to look a little dated, the kitchen appliances specifically could use a refresh. The refrigerator leaks water and sometimes it seemed to be undercooling food and other times almost freezing food. Space in the home is good - we had 3 adults and 2 kids, no problem - each kid had their own room. Overall I would stay again if they figure out the internet.

Terrible check in process. House was not cleaned at all.

We were sent an email at 3:50pm saying our house was clean. We tried to check in at 5:00pm an hour after our check in time and the house was a mess. Nothing had been done especially now during Covid times. We had to take our 3 small kids 5years and under to a restaurant while they attempted to clean and that too after repeated calls to the management company (Resort Delaware), who were very uncooperative in the beginning. When we finally checked in at 7:30pm we found the porch had still not been cleaned. We had to call them again to come back to clean. When we went to bed we found none of the beds had been made even though we paid extra for the linen service. Overall we had a horrible check in process after 4 hours of driving with 3 small kids.

Great Vacation at 10 Sycamore Street

Loved this house, it had everything you could want in a vacation rental. Kitchen was stocked well, furniture was comfortable and adequate for a family of 8. Beds were comfortable and the house is laid out well. We usually vacation in the Outer Banks and decided to stay in Bethany this year, due to it being closer to Annapolis where we lived. This house is close enough to the beach but not to close to have to deal with the crowds. We didn't not use the pool and recreation areas, that price was a little bit too much, they looks well kept but cannot really review them. The only down side which is not the house, if you have more than 2 cars you will have some problems. We had 2 and the neighbors liked to park in front of our house so we ended up using the driveway which would result in the one of the cars being on the side walk. I would definitely rent this house again.

Bethany Family stay

This is our second year staying at Bear Trap Dunes - our first at this address. We had a wonderful time. The house was well appointed, and other than a couple minor quirks with appliances, the property was in great shape. Nice view of the pond (catch and release is permitted), short walk to the pool/tennis facility and regular shuttle service to the beach are all great. There are a number of beach/pool toys at your disposal and there is access to the garage (not available at every property), which was convenient. For golfers, Bear Trap is well maintained and strikes a nice balance between challenge for experts and forgiveness for beginners/duffers (like me). We are very much looking forward to returning to stay at 10 Sycamore again next year.

Plenty of space, great bed sizes, lovely view of pond with water feature, short walk to Pavillion. Hardwood floors need to be swept, bring all your own spices for cooking, lots of pots pans, great BBQ grill on deck. Had a great time.

Comfortable cottage!

We enjoyed our stay! The amenities at Bear Trap are vey nice. Enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and the workout facilities. Excellent bike riding in the community. Close to beach and grocery stores and very good restaurants. The front desk folks at the Pavillion were very helpful. The cottage had a well equipped kitchen as well as all the amenities one would need. We enjoyed fishing in the pond with our 3 year old granddaughter.

Very nice accommodations for 10.

Very nice home. Spacious, well kept and a good location to both pools, pavilion, and shuttle stops. The pond out back was fun for my younger son who was able to catch (and release) a few large mouth bass. A real bonus was the 4 beach cruisers and child bike trailer that the home owner provided. I would suggest a bigger dining table to accomodate 10- as it is now can only seat 8. Bear Trap Dunes offered amenties for the whole family and was just the right distance to Bethany beach and boardwalk with Fenwick Island only 15 minutes down Coastal Highway. Would recommend this home and/or community to anyone.

Nice House, just a few minor issues

We had a wonderful time in Bethany Beach, the house was spacious & accomodated our family nicely. We had a lovely pond view & room for my nephew to play outside in the yard. We were close to the pool & only 4 miles from the beach. The only issues with the house were the refridgator was freezing our food, even at the lowest setting & we had to throw many items away. The house only had the very basics as far as cooking goes, there was only salt & pepper in the house. We stayed for 2 weeks & cooked in most of our meals, so we had to go buy everything else as far as that goes. We’ve been renting beach homes in OC & Bethany for 43 years, & although this house met our needs, there definitely were no extras, most of the other homes we’ve been in had extra soap or dish washing liquid or dish towels. This home didn’t have any of those things, no extra cleaning supplies to clean off the counters after cooking, no extra spices, etc. If you stay here & plan on cooking, you should be prepared to buy or bring absolutely everything you need! We had some issues with the TV’s when we first arrived & the man who checked the residence before we checked in told my parents that 2 of the tvs weren’t working & just left. I called & requested that someone come out to take a look at them, but no one ever showed up. Luckily it was just a connection issue & we were able to fix them on our own, but no one from ResortQuest ever did follow up to see if the issue had been resolved. Again being there for 2 weeks w/o either on the main TVs working would’ve definitely been a major issue especially due to several days of rain when we weren’t able to get out to the beach or pool. Overall we had a great stay, all the issues we had were very minor & were easily fixed. We would definitely rent the property again in the future, we would just be prepared w/ our own pots & pans & know what to expect.

Great house with just about everything you could need! Very clean. Good location in neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. We have stayed in Bear Trap 2 other times...once in a townhouse near the Pavilion and once in a single family home. I believe this townhouse was even larger than the single we stayed in. The configuration of the bedrooms worked great for us, and truth be told, was probably even more than we needed...but it was nice to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dinnerware & flatware and all kinds of dishes and such. It was also convenient to have use of two bikes...great neighborhood for bike riding. It had been many years since we had been to Bear Trap Dunes and it was nice to see that the community and its amenities have been well kept. If I had any suggestion for the community it would only be to add more umbrellas at the pool...they were at a premium! Loved sitting on the screened in porch and hearing the fountain in the little lake behind the house. Being an end unit was also a plus. Quiet neighborhood and just a short drive to grocery store and some restaurants if you didn't want to go into town. Fenwick Island is also easily accessible using back roads.
