Inside, put your favorite tunes on the stereo and kick up your feet. The full kitchen features full-size appliances and the equipment you need to make your favorite meals - the additional kitchenette will help out during late nights of billiards tournaments. If you want to play billiards, just head downstairs to the lounge. Essential amenities like private washer/dryer are present, of course. Just be sure to save yourself a spot by the fireplace.

This was NOT up to the standards or any VRBO listed property we have ever stayed in. It was extremely dirty including sand in the beds. Nothing had been dusted in quite sometime and the floor was very dirty. The decking and rails are almost unsafe. The third floor has 2 spots on the floor where the base has given way. Windows don’t all open and any repairs seem to be done on the cheap. The grounds are not well kept which means you get thorns on your shoes or in your feet. We suspect there is some mold or mildew as three of our family struggled with breathing issues. We would NOT recommend this property.

Overall ... Property Nice. However, there were a number of things that didn't work. ● The Two main Chandeliers in the Main Living area (Admiral Level) had NO Working Light Bulbs --- 3 Switches on the wall that probably operated those Chandeliers, but nothing we tried would get them to light. ● Only 1 of the numerous outside lights had a working bulb. ● The Fan in the Admiral Suite's Bathroom is Stuck --- could start a fire. ● NONE of the TV Remotes Worked (perhaps all had dead batteries..don't know) If instructions are needed, then they should be supplied.

The house is quircky but good for large groups with three separate levels that are all clearly set up to be separate rentals. I would caution renters about beach access as the adjacent property has a private drive sign followed by additional signs with hand guns warning 'tresspassers'. The other adjacent property with the trail access has posted that the trail access is only for their rental guests. Very ridiculous. If you don't mind tresspassing to get to the beach and want a giant, quircky house with everything in it, great. The last thing I'll mention is that dogs cost about $225 per animal which is very steep. So don't plan on bringing animals unless you have deep pockets.

First the positive. The house is large enough for lots of privacy. Big dining table, and the kids loved the pool table. The negative. The house was cold and damp when we arrived, not a nice welcome. It smelled like a basement. The first floor heater and tv could not be used as they kept tripping the breaker. The first floor bedrooms were filled with dead spiders and bugs, and were cold and damp for the first day. I called and was on hold for over an hour trying to contact someone. Finally someone texted back. The floors throughout the house were dirty, leaving socks black and dirty after walking on them. No dish in the house was clean. We had to wash them all before using them, and most of the pots and pans had rust on them, lots of rust. Firepit was filled with wet yard debris, and took a bit to clean out. Read the contract, because they aren't responsible for anything working or functional.

What we paid and what we got was disappointing. The fees, cleaning fees and what ever “other” fees are are not worth it. Property needs some updating. Everything is old and needing some tlc. Cookware is old and over use. Appliances need updating as they are beat up. Some lights we could not figure out how to turn on. Tv remotes were a challenge to try to figure out as some did not work.

Lovely house in need of tons of tlc. Many safety concerns loose or rotten boards on balconies and front steps. Loose glass along railing of the balconies. The hot tub wasn't working and there wasn't a marked trail to the beach.

The state of the property was completely unacceptable and deterred us for enjoying our stay. Let me start with the fact that we do not believe that this house should be rented as it currently stands. It is *not* clean and pleasant, and does not feel safe (in fact may actually not be, but regardless perception prevails here). Upon arrival, there was an unpleasant smell in the entire house: musty, old, unclean, and a disgusting smell on the top floor: kitchen, main living room, master bedroom. It smelled like fish/rot. The stove was not properly wiped and the cabinets were all grimy with years of use without ever being cleaned. There were nails coming out of transition floor boards by the entrance and someone stepped on one without shoes on. Luckily, they didn't get hurt but we had to spend some time pushing the nails back in. While we didn't expect much, the kitchen was making basic condiments (salt) and other random spices were expired. The beds are uncomfortable old spring beds with squeaky, unstable bed frames (especially in the bottom floor bedrooms). The pillows smell musty and finding one that wasn't stained/dirty was a challenge. The bedding is rough and scratchy, and again not worthy of the cost per night for this place. Having decent linen is probably the lowest bar for vacation rental. The house heater of the bedroom adjacent to the hot tub did not work and the space heater was barely enough to heat up the room. The bedside lamp for this room was also broken (missing the knob to turn the light on). The recreation room: We flagged that the ping pong table had a broken leg. The moment we started playing it fell apart. We had to put it back together in its precarious state to be able to use it. The toilets seats are all stained/scratched and simply feel gross. The hot tub qas broken in many areas and fixed with tape (!).

Beach was an easy walk down the trail in front of house. Stairs may be an issue for older guests and the house is really starting to show its age, but functions well for large groups.

The home was very close to the beach and our family had a wonderful 4 days at the property. We spent most of the time in the main floor and at the beach. The home could use some significant maintenance to help maintain it's high-end status. The railing on the main stairs entering the home is failing. The recreation room on the bottom floor is unusable. The smell is so strong from suspected mold and/or mildew. The half-bath on the main floor smelled like sewage. Many of the window louvers were damaged or missing and the sliding glass door lock needs to be repaired. Again...a great house in a great location...just needs a little love.
