Visit our recently renovated top floor end unit, Monkey Sea, Monkey Dune. Enjoy relaxing views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway and the Island from both of our spacious decks. The redesigned floor plan provides each bedroom with a private bath. We also added brand new beds, appliances, bathrooms, fresh paint, and updated furniture.

Our getaway is located in the sociable Dockside Landing community, situated on Ocean Isle Beach's west end, where there's something to do for everyone! The beach is a short walk away from the condo. Launch your kayak or stand-up paddle board right from the boat launch on the property. Fish or catch blue crab from the onsite docks.

Several restaurants, a coffee shop, ice cream on the beach, and a mini-putt course are a leisurely one mile walk or drive from the condo. Charter a boat, rent a bike or kayak for a mild adventure of your own choosing right from the center of the island.

Nearby on the mainland, experience any of the dozens of golf courses, visit the many attractions on Myrtle Beach, or stop in Calabash for some of the best seafood on the East coast!

We offer a fully equipped kitchen, electric range oven, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer in unit. The condo also has streaming TV, high-speed internet, WiFi, and DVD/BluRay player.

Place was a great home for a week a few blocks from the beech. We enjoyed the short walk to the ocean and views early and late of the creek behind the property.Great pool for various levels of swimming ability and overall nice community.

This is a great place to stay. Beautiful views from the decks and an easy walk straight to the beach. Our kids loved the pool and the turtle pond. The owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location for easy beach access, pool, parking, sunsets over intercoastal and amenities. Typically we get a golf cart for our stays but it was not missed. Kids loved the dock and turtle pond!Craig was great and shared all details, made it super easy and with great hospitality!

Top Notch

Worth the highest rating in every category! Owners communicated so well with phone call, email, physical binder (with great photos and maps). And they even had a “visitors’ package” ready with two trash bags, a kitchen sponge, etc… all neighbors at the complex were equally as friendly and welcoming. One lady let us borrow an umbrella. These owners could teach a course, “How to run a successful beach rental.”

Monkey See Monkey Dune

The property was as the owner described but be forewarned that the 3rd floor is actually 4 flights of steps (and they get harder to climb each day). The views from both the front and the back decks were awesome, as well as the interior of the condo were as described. We had some issues getting the television on local stations and Roku but I think that was "operator error". The front entry door was difficult to unlock and lock - even with the instructions left on the glass. Overall, I would recommend the property as it is as described in the pictures.

Great Dockside stay

Nice property, easily housed 5 ppl wo any issues. The stairs were challenging after a full day of running around but the views from both decks made up for it. Clean, updated and comfortable. good tv options and good wifi.

Wonderful stay at MSMD!

My family of 4 (2 littles) had the best time at Ocean Isle staying at Monkey Sea, Monkey Dune! Craig gave us all the info we needed for our stay to make it an easy check in/out process. We had plenty of space. Everything we could possibly need was supplied at the condo. The whole place was clean. The walk to the beach was easy and short. We truly loved it and can’t wait to stay again in the future! Thanks Craig and Liz!

Great Vacation

My wife our 2 kids 8 and 10 years old found this to be a perfect stay for us. Owners communicated well with us leading up to and during our stay which helped a lot. The unit was clean next to the pool and a very easy walk to a great beach. Will go down as one of our favorite vacations so far. Thanks for everything.

Wonderful getaway!

We had a great experience at this OIB spot! The host was very responsive and accommodating throughout the whole rental process and stay. We loved the views from the back porch of the sound as well as down the beach. The place was very comfortable and clean. We could tell the host makes updates and cares a lot about their slice of paradise! Hope to come back again soon!

Best kept secret

Craig was a great host! Very responsive and informative. This condo fit our needs perfectly. It was clean and perfectly located! We had outstanding views of the sunset and the ocean. The walk to the beach was so easy. We will for sure want a repeat of this trip!! Highly recommended

2nd stay at Monkey Sea, Monkey Dune

This is the second time we have stayed at Monkey Sea, Monkey Dune. Craig makes check in and check out extremely easy. He even lets renters know if cleaning is done early to allow for an earlier check in time, which is awesome. If a guest has any questions or concerns, Craig responds promptly. There is plenty of space for 4-6 guests and the walk to the beach is short. The convenience of providing towels and linens along with not requiring guests to wash them prior to departure is an added bonus. Definitely recommended for anyone with young or older children, as there is a pool onsite as well.

Absolutley perfect!

Craig is awesome and has an amazing place to stay. Best view, location and communication. The place was one of the best equipped houses we have ever been in. Weeklong Escape

My family had an excellent week at Monkey Sea, Monkey Dune. The views are spectacular -- especially of Jinks Creek at sunrise and sunset. While the hike up the many stairs can be exhausting by the end of the day, it is worth it. The kitchen is well stocked. The 3 of us had plenty of room to stretch out on the couches. We loved the short walk to the beach and the boardwalk beach entrance made it easy to push the beach cart. Just one suggestion -- do not try to launch an inflatable kayak or SUP at the dock. There are many oysters and even at high tide you risk slicing your SUP/kayak. We saw people with regular kayaks who had no problems at high tide. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great Stay!

The property was very clean. You could really tell that the owners had put a lot of effort in thinking of ways to make you feel at home. Great location, we loved the docks the property had on the intercoastal waterway and that we were such a short walk from the ocean. This was a very family friendly spot! Monkey Sea is a Must See

Property is in a perfect location to enjoy either beach or pool. Full time owners are all very kind and helpful. Property provides enough room for many people. We had 4 plus 3 visitors for a day and we were not crowded. All the amenities in the unit provide those special touches. Highly recommend!

Great Location, Gorgeous views

The property location is excellent in relation to the beach and surrounding areas including the main shopping, activities and attractions. Although there were stairs to climb, the view made up for the exercise. The property is the end unit which provides views from several directions. The property was equip with linen and the kitchen was stocked with the essentials needed to vacation with family. Would definitely recommend staying at this property.
