Beautiful Beach Condo on Ocean Isle, ~NC~

A fabulous destination, Ocean Isle Beach, boasts wide sandy beaches, and lots of recreational activities for all. It is a perfect place to enjoy a week at the beach or a quick get-a-way. Our condo is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home that is fully equipped to provide a great vacation experience. It is located in the Starboard By The Sea complex, sits on the sound / marsh side of the island and offers fantastic views of sunsets. Enjoy sitting on our covered deck, with your favorite beverage, and watch the sun set!

There are a total of 6 beds and the condo will sleep 8 people. We have a queen and double bed in each of the larger bedrooms plus 2 twin beds in the smaller bedroom. New mattresses were added in April 2016 and 2017. We do not provide linen and towel service.
If needed, contact owner who will provide names of local people who will provide these items. There is a fully equipped kitchen, central air, washer / dryer, flat screen HDTV, and Wi-Fi.. There is a wall mounted TV in the master and second bedroom. Beach chairs, rafts and fishing equipment are provided for guests (located in our storage room). Covered ground level parking with space for 2-3 cars is found under our condo. The beach, with private access, is a short 3 minute walk away. There are 3 tennis courts throughout the complex and one of the courts faces our condo. The complex has 3 Swimming pools (with 1 of the swimming pools located on the beach). The swimming pool at the beach has a deck area, with rocking chairs, that overlooks the ocean.

We completely remolded our kitchen and both bathrooms in December 2012. We have brand new appliances and state of the art fixtures in the kitchen. The master bath has a shower stall, while the hall bath has a standard tub / shower unit.

Ocean Isle is located between Myrtle Beach, SC and historic Wilmington, NC ( a 30-35 minute drive either way). Southport, NC, with its quaint shops is located 35 minutes away. There are over 20 great golf courses within a 20 minute drive and Calabash, the seafood capital of the south, is located 20 minutes away. In addition, there are several great restaurants (Ocean Isle Fish Co, Sharky's, Pelican's Perch The Isles) on the island. Over the bridge you will find Sugar Shack (great Jamaican food) and Maria's ( Italian Food). Take a short 10-15 ride to Shallotte Point to visit the Inlet Bar and Grill (this place offers views of Ocean Isle, Holden Beach, the Intercoastal Waterway, Shallotte River and the Atlantic Ocean!). Ice cream shops, and stores are located on the Island. Also, there is a miniature golf course, plus a fishing pier for your enjoyment. Across the bridge you will find several shops, 2 large supermarkets, fresh seafood, and a motor cart track. Nearby Shallotte has several supermarkets, 2 'big box' stores, restaurants, and shops.

Wonderful!

We absolutely loved this condo. Our favorite part was hanging out on the porch that overlooks the sound…we just loved watching all the wildlife who visited. The condo was super clean and well stocked. The walk to the beach was easy as well.

Great View and Nice Accommodations

We enjoyed our stay at this charming condo. It has been updated nicely and is cozy but not cramped. We really enjoyed the marsh view and short walk to the beach. I’d say the only drawback was bringing our own sheets and towels, but honestly for the price this was worth the minor inconvenience. We would definitely stay here again!

Great time with family and friends - A girl getaway!!

We had a hiccup at the beginning of our trip - BUT our host responded quickly and all was resolved. Loved the location and the layout of the condo. Beautiful weather and lots of laughs. Kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely return to this condo!!

Great Spring Get-A-Way

Comfortable & relaxing

Comfortable early April weekend stay within a few minute walk to the private beach access. Condo was on 2nd level, great view of the intercoastal waterway/marsh from the deck, we ate dinner & watched the sunset. Unit was clean, beds were comfortable, had everything we needed. Would absolutely stay again!

Fantastic Property

The condo was even better than we expected!! Great layout for families with children! Great location, porch overlooking the marsh with fishing dock! Minutes from the beach! Super well equipped! We highly recommend you vacation here. We will be coming back!!!

So relaxing!

We really enjoyed our relaxing stay at this condo. The proximity to the beach is very nice and the tennis court and heated pool were right across from us. It was a quick walk to the beach for the sunrise in the mornings and then the sunsets were enjoyed right from the deck at the condo which overlooks the waterway which is constantly changing with the tide. The kitchen is very well stocked. There was really nothing lacking for a great vacation there in Ocean Isle. The host was very communicative and helpful as well.

Perfect stay for fall fishing weekend

The deck is positioned perfectly for viewing the sunsets over the water, you won’t wanna miss them. The condo is cozy, very equipped, and a short walk to the beach. It’s also a short drive to the fishing charter service I used and highly recommend, Salt Fever Guide Service. No complaints whatsoever. :)

Always Amazing!

My family and I have been coming to OIB for the last 3 years. This is our second stay at this lovely and quaint condo. And to be honest, we don't want to stay anywhere else. My family absolutely love this home away from home. It's clean, easily accessible to anywhere in OIB, comes with all the essential amenities you need for a week at the beach and then some. The new flooring throughout is a fresh and beautiful addition. And the washer and dryer work well...which is so important when you need to use them. Our favorite thing about this condo is the sunset views and view of the intercoastal waterway. We sure will miss our breakfast and coffee on the deck as we head back home. The host, Dennis, is kind, helpful and responsive. We had an issue with the a/c on our first night. Dennis worked diligently to ensure that the issue was resolved quickly and that we were comfortable. His hospitality is unmatched. We can't thank Dennis enough for this wonderful and restful week. It's just what we needed! Thank you! Until next year!

Peaceful and Beautiful - already want to go back!

We loved staying at this peaceful little place. The location is ideal, very short walk to the beach, and we were surprised at how much we enjoyed the gorgeous views of the sound. Birdwatching was a lot of fun! There are so many nice touches that make this spot feel special, and we would love to stay here again. OIB has great little places to eat (highly recommend Causeway Gourmet, Split Milk, Sugar Shack and Amelias within a 5 minute drive) and shop (OIB Candle Shop next door to Causeway Gourmet was so cute!) and the beach is amazing - peaceful and not crowded, great shell finding and beautiful sunsets. Dennis was very kind, solicitous and responsive in all communication. Would highly recommend this lovely little oasis!
