Albany Hideaway in the town of Oban

Welcome to our cosy and conveniently located ground-floor apartment on Albany Street, right in the heart of Oban. This single-level, 2-bedroom retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort and accessibility, making it an ideal base for exploring this picturesque coastal town.

The master bedroom features a superking bed. The second bedroom offers a comfortable double bed. Both bedrooms come equipped with spacious wardrobes, dressing tables, and ample shelving, providing plenty of storage space for your stay. The newly renovated open-plan kitchen and living area is perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including a washing machine, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, making it easy to enjoy home-cooked meals during your stay. Please note that parking is strictly on-street, with paid parking from 9am to 6pm daily. For added convenience, there is also a car park located just down the street, on your right as you approach the apartment. A house manual is provided to help you navigate the apartment and make the most of your stay.

Located in the centre of Oban, you'll find a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants just a short stroll away. Whether you're here to explore the local attractions, enjoy fresh seafood, or simply soak in the charming atmosphere, everything is within easy reach. If you are heading to the Isles, the ferry terminal is also walking distance.

There is very little free parking in Oban unfortunately, so if you are heading away for the day I would recommend parking in one of the many all day car parks.

Parking is strictly on street parking. This is paid parking from 9am through to 6pm daily.

There is also a carpark just down the way from the apartment on Albany St, you will see it on your right when heading to the apartment.
As this is in a block of flats, we ask all guests to be courteous of other residents.

Oban is a very beautiful place to be and Albany Hideaway just hits the right spot. It was very clean and tidy. Comfortable beds and all amenities were provided. Lovely!

This accommodation exceeded my expectation. The apartment was very clean, fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, everything you need. Great location, it's a walking distance to shops, restaurants and grocery stores. The only downside is the parking. However, it helps that all the parking sites are free from 1800-0900 and pay from 0900-1800... just have to plan around that. Perhaps, include a designated parking spot for your guest and you'll definitely have more than 5 stars ;) Overall, lovely apartment. I will definitely stay here again when we go back to Oban!

We really enjoyed this unit and would definitely stay here again. We were two couples and space worked well for us. I thought it was going to be really tiny, but it was a decent size. Location is great - close to train station, ferry dock, and also a grocery store. Kitchen was well equipped. We did struggle with combo washing machine/dryer (we couldn't get the dryer to come on) because we are Americans and don't have these combo devices. Overall a great unit.

Oban Overnights for Turus Mara Cruise Trip

Well designed layout for easy access inside and out. Walk to the Cal-Mac Ferry for a trip to Isle of Mull and puck-up my mini bus by Turus Mara.The host has set up the property for ease and convenience. The grocery is also only a short walk. We completely enjoyed our time here.
