Escape the chaos of life to relax and recharge.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We have all the amenities you will need for a great stay away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday life. A stylish little cabin in the country with access to walking trails, a pool, and a hot tub($) at the main house, which is a short walk up the hill. We have farm animals, and we run an animal rescue that can have anywhere from 14 to 32 dogs. They stay in a fenced-in yard where the pool is located. They love to swim with guests!

You can access the pool area, farm animal area and walking trails.
Other things to note
This is a remote location without access to high-speed internet. However, a booster is in the house to boost your cell signal.

Critters such as ants, spiders, moths, flies, mosquitoes, and many other things are native to this area, and it is typical in the country to have an occasional sighting of these tiny creatures. For example, they like to come in during the hot season looking for water. Please keep in mind that you are booking a trip in the wilderness- we are in the country and located in THEIR territory. We prepare for such sightings and invasions through routine extermination treatments throughout the year. We give no refunds for seeing any of these creatures and want to prepare our guests for what to expect. Please respect nature and accept all that comes with it if booking here. Do not book if this is an issue. We only want you to have a great time. If there is ever an abundance of ants or other pests inside, please notify us so that we can address the issue immediately.

You may also see coyotes, deer, hogs, hawks, vultures, rabbits, squirrels, snakes, frogs, and lizards.

Beautiful property, perfect stay

Beautiful property with the sandy dirt, large pine and oak trees, cleared trails, and perfectly designed cabin for our small family. Enjoyed lots of time at the pool with the kids, naps in the afternoon, and cooking out on the grill. Very accommodating and wonderful hosts available to make your stay perfect!

May become a yearly trip

Absolutely LOVED the little cabin! It was a perfect get-away-from-the-everyday place. Pretty much, anything you needed was already there, so it took away the stress of forgetting anything at home. The owners are probably some of the nicest people we've ever dealt with. Jamie went over and above getting the movies that my wife wanted to watch, so she made my wife happy, which made me enjoy the trip that much more. The true joy was getting to play with all of the dogs. I felt like I had found a small slice of heaven just getting to play with them all. Aspen, Elvis, Boss, Bitsy, Dora, Jeb, Stetson, Buddy, Winston, too many to name them all. What they are doing for those dogs is truly commendable, and it makes staying in the cabin that much sweeter. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. When you go, you'll know.

Nice peaceful stay

We were looking for a quiet place away from the cilty and this was a great place. No internet and even phone data is limited. It was very nice to unplug.
