Inside, you ll find warm wood accents and two wood-burning fireplaces that set the tone for peaceful mornings and cozy evenings. The main level features two comfortable bedrooms, each with a queen bed, along with a sleeper sofa for additional guests in the living area. Upstairs, the loft provides a fun and flexible sleeping space with two twin beds with trundles perfect for the kiddos.


Outside is where this classic cottage truly shines. Enjoy your private lakefront setting with a spacious yard, a stone patio for outdoor dining and grilling, and a firepit ready for s mores under the stars. Your private dock offers direct access to Deep Creek Lake ideal for swimming, boating, fishing, or simply soaking in the peaceful waterfront views. (Dock is available Memorial Day through Labor Day). Located in a quiet, scenic area, Great Escape captures the essence of a traditional Deep Creek Lake getaway simple, relaxing, and right on the water.

*Max parking spaces for this home is 6; garage access is not available
*This home does not have cable tv (streaming is available using your own account)

*This is a non-smoking/vaping property
*Check-in is between 4 pm- 9 pm; Check-out is by 10 am.
*Minimum age to rent is 25.

WHAT TO BRING:
Please plan to bring your own supplies. One bath towel and one washcloth per person will be provided. Homes are equipped with cookware, dishes, drinkware, utensils, and bed linens for the max occupancy of the home. Propane will be provided for all propane grills; any refill requests can be made during normal business hours. Some items NOT provided include: paper products, food/spices, coffee filters, trash bags, detergents, soaps, toiletries, beach towels, firewood and makeup remover wipes (recommended to avoid fees for towel damage).

PETS:
This home allows up to 2 well-behaved dogs with a pre-paid pet fee. When making your reservation, please be sure to enter the number of dogs in the designated pet field when adding the number of adults and children so the pet fee is included in your reservation total. No other pets are permitted. Bringing more than two dogs will result in a fee equal to 3x the standard pet fee, per pet.

WINTER RESERVATIONS:
A 4WD vehicle is required to access rentals between November through April. Private driveways will not be snow-plowed unless and until there is 5 inches of snow.

RESERVATION PROCESS:
WITHIN 24 HRS OF BOOKING, sign the Rental Agreement to begin receiving your pre-arrival information. (Door Codes will NOT be released without an e-signed agreement.) Once completed, your check-in instructions and door code will be automatically sent ONE DAY PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. If you do not receive this info, please check your spam folder first. If it is still missing, contact us before 4 pm to ensure a smooth check-in. *A non-refundable processing fee applies to all reservations.*
