Gorgeous view!

Loved watching the sunset and sunrise in the evening and morning on the deck and cement patio and gazebo. Tri-tip on outdoor Blackstone griddle was a delight to use and easy to clean. Kids loved using all the games, pool, volleyball, basketball, air hockey, foosball—even stayed off digital devices! kept all the cousins happy and allowed for some great quality time among the adults. Toured nearby Yosemite Valley with a highlight being glacier point view of the whole valley. Exhausted from touring, so came back early for a wonderful late afternoon and evening at the house! Would book again, if in the area!

Late Christmas Get Together

Property was very clean, had plenty of activities for the kids and open layout. My extended family couldn't get together for Christmas so we decided to meet up here and we couldn't have been happier. This stay may have started a new Christmas tradition

It is called Play House for a reason

We had an excellent getaway into the mountains and this was a perfect place for 4 of our close friends and their families to enjoy a well deserved getaway. The House was excellent. The weather was Raining so outdoor activity was limited but we still made the most of it. Definitely will be coming back during the Summer for a longer stay.

Amazing Place

This home away from home is amazing. The views are beyond words. Had deer walking through the back area of the house in the early morning. It was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Such an amazing place and close to any food places you could need. Loved it and hoping to book it again some day.

Great Girls weekend

We came in to a clean and beautiful house. The views ate worth it themselves. My group and I spent hours over the weekend just out side looking at stars. Great location, close to a grocery store and food options (all good) and close enough to make a trip out to Yosemite. The host was communicative and had great recommendations for places to go, eat, and explore. Definitely would rent here again and recommend it to anyone thinking of booking this property.

Beautiful home and amazing sunset

The home was beautiful and the sunset was just amazing! Yelena communicated with our family throughout our stay with any questions we may have had. She went way above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. The home itself is beautiful. Plenty of room and never felt crowded. The high faulted ceiling were a plus. Lots of games to keep the kids entertained. A quick car trip to Bass Lake was nice especially after a long day at the lake when ur ready to head home to take a nice shower to relax and watch the amazing sunset. Would highly recommend this home and would rent it again for our next family trip to Bass Lake .

Large Family Vacation

This was truly a great home for our family vacation this year. The house is close to Oakhurst California and the south entrance to Yosemite National Park. The house was clean and well maintained. The sunset view over the mountains is spectacular. The many extras such as Ping Pong, Pool table, Indoor Shuffle Board, Badminton, Volley Ball, Basketball, Horse Shoes, Corn Hole Bean Bag throw and an outdoor Blackstone Griddle!!!. There are two refrigerators for your use. Having Deer walk thru the front and back yard in the morning and evening was a treat. The owner is very responsive and lives close and easy to communicate with. Our family highly recommends this property for your next family vacation for visiting Yosemite National Park and Bass Lake for swimming and boating.

Amazing Mountain View House Filled with Games

The house is in a quiet neighborhood with an amazing view. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard after long hikes from Yosemite. We went there with a few families with kids from 10 to 16 years old and had so much fun! The kids were never bored with ping pong table, pool table, valley ball, foosball table, many board games, etc.! The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We would love to go back!

Great stay

We had a blast. A group of 8 of us stayed for a girls weekend. We loved the view, all the amenities the property offered, the ease of check in and out and the communication with the owner. The view in the backyard really is that incredible. Something to do in all the rooms, we were never bored. Overall a wonderful weekend.

Wonderful Reunion Getaway!

The place was absolutely wonderful! Great space for activities, tons of room to spread out and play board games and cards. The entertainment tables (air hockey, ping pong, etc) we’re a great fit! We loved the patio and view, great for sleeping arrangements, and close to activities we did, such as golf and the casino. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Very nice house

Lots to do indoors for all ages. Views and outside activities hampered at times by smoke (not the host's fault at all). Full cancellation insurance highly recommended in these California wildfire seasons. The host did recommend doing this early on in March. Our fault for not getting it. Over all, the house fit our needs very well and was clean and well-appointed. Yosemite was a wash due to thick smoke.

Amazing Sunsets at the outdoor patio

Lots of games, great view, host was very responsive. There are extra rules that you need to be aware of not included in contract or welcome sheet which host texted regarding use of internet: Using the internet to distribute, share or stream pirate content will be reported to authorities. It's inconvenient having to monitor and make sure all my guest are not using the internet improperly. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

What a place

The property was nice and clean when we showed up spoke with the property manager had a great understanding with her. But what was the cream of the crop was the sunset was able to sit out there and watch the sunset go down every night it was so surreal

Spectacular Views!

We were so fortunate to stay at a Yelena’s Mountain Playhouse in Oakhurst. The home was situated in a quiet neighborhood with breathtaking mountain views! There were 11 of us (2 families) and there was plenty of room to spread out and relax. We spent 4 nights at the property during our visit to Yosemite. We made sure to return early enough each evening to catch the sunset- you can not miss it! The home was so nice we took and entire day to enjoy all it had to offer. Football, pool, volleyball, ping pong, shuffle board, basketball, air hockey and more. Our kids (ages 7-14) had a blast as did the 4 adults as well. We made memories that will certainly last a lifetime! If we are ever fortunate enough to return to the Yosemite area, we would certainly return to the Mountain Playhouse!

Clean property

There were 15 of us (ages from 0 to 60) and we all fit quite comfortably. Pros: The property has a stunning view of mountains in back and plenty of room for kids to run and play. The kitchen was suitably stocked. The air conditioning was in great working order (thank goodness). All TV's were in good working order as well as the WiFi. Plenty of towels, pillows, blankets. There were spices in the kitchen, dishwasher soap, a few garbage bags. Huge pantry to fit all of our food! The volleyball/badminton net area is fabulous. Huge closets in all of the bedrooms. Plenty of seating for all. Even thought there were so many of us, we never felt crowded. This house has the potential to be excellent. The house is advertised as no pets, but we were able to bring our small shih tzu for $50. The host was readily available to answer questions. We never met her, but checked in with a code. This was nice. Cons: The toys/games were quite shabby. The pool table is in the refurbished garage so is at a huge slant. The shuffle board was slanted as well. The pool table needs re-felting and at least one of the pockets is torn. The air hockey table works, but it doesn't keep score digitally all the time (not a big deal). Some areas of the hockey table don't blow air. The Badminton set only has 3 rackets. Tetherball is completely useless, the pole isn't secure. We smelled a septic tank or sewer when in the back yard when by the fence. The back deck is in dire need of repair and paint. I would say to attach a gate to the spiral staircase for toddlers sake. Only one propane tank is provided so you must move from fire pit to griddle and back. No BBQ provided, only a Blackstone griddle. The Paris rooms bed sinks in the middle. I hope this helps. Our trip was definitely a success even with the cons.

Started rough, but ended GREAT.

The stay at this beautiful house started off a bit rough due to a nearby fire that caused much smoke I'm our immediate location, ashes everywhere as well. In saying that, Yelena was great. She was very understanding and offered a full refund if we decided not to stay. Even gave us the option of staying one night to think it over and refund the remaining money. There was also a slight problem (unexpectedly) with the septic tank, but even then, Yelena was on top of it and had it fixed in no time at all. My family and friends decided to stay at the house and in the end had no regrets and were very happy that we did. The house is beautiful and very well kept. The view was sensational and again, Yelena was very easy to reach by phone and responded quickly to any questions or concerns that I had. I look forward to returning to this beautiful house next summer.

Great experience

The house was beautiful. Very big and clean when we got there. The view outside was outstanding and there were plenty of games and things to do for the kids. Every age group had something to do and they were never bored. Overall very good experience.

Moms retirement trip

I live 2 hours away and this house was a great getaway for moms retirement! The house is fully stocked with most forgotten amenities. Beds are all comfortable house is spacious but small enough to be cozy too. Kids and adults loved all the games available to us and we all enjoyed the gazebo and the view!! Yelena was great and quick to answer any questions we had.

Lucky us to find this amazing property!

There were 10 of us including 5 adults and 5 kids, ages 6-16, all boys. To say they were excited when entering this Playhouse would be an understatement! So many things to do including pool table, ping pong table, badminton, volleyball, etc. We were a distance from Yosemite but that was our choice. Oakhurst was close by. Everything about the home pleased us. We'd gather around the deck tables for our evening meals or around the patio area in the early mornings and evenings. The kitchen was amazingly well-equipped so we lacked nothing as we cooked at least two meals each day that week. Yelena is great to communicate with her guests. We appreciated the opportunity to stay in her Playhouse.

Perfect and Spacious

This house was perfect for our family getaway. Check in and out process was a breeze. Our host was fantastic! Great communication the entire process. The outdoor space was incredible! Evenings outside couldn’t have been more enjoyable. We loved all the amenities! The kids were sure to enjoy every inch of the property! There wasn’t ever a moment of boredom. Plenty of space to enjoy. Bathrooms were spacious and very clean. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of extra blankets if needed. Closets were large and stocked with hangers. Our rooms were more spacious because the closets allowed for multiple suitcases to be stored away. The kitchen had everything we needed, a spacious pantry and two refrigerators gave us all the room we needed for our large group. It’s definitely a property we would return to.

Fantastic family getaway

We had the best time at this VRBO. There were so many activities: pool table, air hockey, ping pong, volleyball, basketball... and many more! But you didn’t need any of that if you were content with the gorgeous view. Just sitting in the gazebo and enjoying the fire pit was enough for me. We were here for our son’s wedding so we didn’t have much time to enjoy all this property had to offer. Guess we will have to make another trip soon just to enjoy this house! (And the host was great at responding to my emails.) Thanks for a great stay!
