The Space:

Kalm The Farm by Tiny Away in Numulgi, just 15 minutes from Lismore, offers a peaceful tiny house with open fields, tall trees, and the slow pace of farm life, while remaining close to everything you need.



From here, you can explore Byron Bay in 40 minutes, visit Minyon Falls Lookout, or wander the forests of Nightcap National Park. The striking Nimbin Rocks are nearby, and Killen Falls is perfect for a refreshing swim. With Byron Bay, the Gold Coast, and countless waterfalls within reach, you can enjoy the charm of this farm stay while having easy access to iconic destinations.



A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny home and most of the property, including the chicken coop, cattle, horses, dogs, and vegetable garden. The main house and machinery shed are off-limits, and animals and plants should not be touched.



The Neighborhood:

Kalm The Farm by Tiny Away is by the small community of Numulgi, only 15 minutes away from the city of Lismore, where a creative local spirit grows together with their food and arts scene. From here, rolling hinterland stretches toward some of the region’s most iconic landmarks.



From here, the world-famous Byron Bay and the rugged coastline of the Gold Coast are within reach, but so are striking inland treasures. Hike into Nightcap National Park for lush rainforest tracks, waterfalls, and the historic Protesters Falls walk. Head up to the Minyon Falls Lookout to take in sweeping escarpment views.



Nearby, the volcanic spires of the Nimbin Rocks stand as dramatic reminders of the land’s ancient past and cultural significance to the Bundjalung people. Just beyond, Nimbin keeps its place as Australia’s counterculture hub. A place where farm life, alternative culture, and natural wonders all meet within a short drive.

- This is the fastest route with typical traffic conditions



By Public Transport:



- No direct public transport available

- Lismore is the nearest township for connections

- Closest airport: Ballina Byron Gateway Airport (approx. 35–40 min drive)

- Alternative options: Gold Coast Airport (approx. 1 hr 30 min drive) or Brisbane Airport (approx. 2 hr 30 min drive)

- Car hire, shuttle services, and private transfers are available from these airports

- Wifi is available (Wi‑Fi is available, but the connection can occasionally be intermittent due to the location)

- No pets are allowed

- A gas BBQ grill is available

- The property is suitable for kids

- Smoking is not allowed on the property

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Complimentary filtered rainwater is provided for drinking

- Extended stays or late check-outs will incur an extra charge

- Please note that this is a working farm, so you may hear sounds from dogs and cattle

- Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone have good mobile reception in the area; other providers may have weak or limited coverage

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.

- Due to the property's location, prior approval is required before exploring the area. Access may be limited in certain weather conditions, and phone coverage is poor at the rear of the property. We're happy to offer guided tours, subject to availability.
