Casa Colinas is an exquisite 3-bedroom villa nestled in the heart of Playa Pelada. Just a short 7-minute walk from the beach, this beautifully designed home blends modern Mediterranean charm with thoughtful craftsmanship.
The interior design embraces a modern Mediterranean aesthetic, offering a harmonious balance of elegance and comfort. A spacious and artfully detailed living area, where unique design touches reflect a sense of refined creativity. A standout feature is the sun terrace balcony accessible from all three bedrooms—perfect for morning coffee or sunset unwinding.
Security Notice: For added peace of mind, a roaming security guard patrols the area during evening hours. This service is shared among neighboring homes and helps to ensure a safe and secure environment for all residents and guests.
ON THE INSIDE
The principal bedroom features a private entry foyer, custom lighting, a queen bed, and an ensuite bathroom—creating a luxurious personal retreat. The second bedroom is ideal for families or groups, with oversized custom queen bunk beds (three beds total), built-in drawers in the staircase, and charming custom library shelving that forms a cozy reading nook. The third bedroom includes a queen bed, an oversized custom dresser, blending style and functionality in the guest space.
ON THE OUTSIDE
Enjoy the convenience of a spacious laundry and storage room, as well as a custom welded surf locker tucked into the lush back garden. At the heart of the property lies an oversized wrap-around saltwater pool in the courtyard, complete with a built-in lounge area—perfect for both relaxation and entertaining. Surrounding the home are mature gardens in the front and back, offering a serene and private outdoor retreat. Gated parking ensures added security and ease for your vehicle or ATV. The home also includes two designated parking spaces.
CONSTRUCTION NOISE
Please note that there is ongoing construction in the neighborhood, and you may encounter some noise during your stay. We want you to fully embrace the majesty of Costa Rica, so if you have any concerns about construction noise, feel free to reach out before booking.
LOCATION IS EVERYTHING
Casa Colinas sits in a quiet pocket of Playa Pelada and is just a 10-minute walk from the beach. Grab coffee or a bite to eat at one of the nearby cafés or stroll to the mini market for essentials. North Playa Guiones is a pleasant 15-20 minute walk away, offering easy access to surf, shops, and yoga studios. When you're not exploring tide pools or hiking the coastline, retreat to the tranquility of Casa Colinas—an ideal spot to enjoy Nosara’s green season charm and tropical rhythm.
LOCAL QUIRKS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS AREA OF COSTA RICA
While Costa Rica's infrastructure is steadily improving, it's important to note that some things are beyond our control. During your stay, you may experience occasional dust, bugs, and power, water, or internet outages. These are common in the area and part of the experience of immersing yourself in a different country and culture.
If staying connected is essential during your visit, we recommend looking into internet data plans available through your cellular provider. Additionally, please be aware that Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada, and surrounding areas of Nosara are rapidly growing communities, which means construction noise may be present between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. We make every effort to keep our guests informed about ongoing construction that may impact their stay, but unfortunately, we do not always receive advance notice of new projects.
Regarding plumbing, please note that the septic system in Nosara does not allow toilet paper to be flushed (with a few exceptions). We kindly ask that you adhere to this guideline during your stay.
We are committed to providing the best possible experience, but we want to ensure that all guests are aware of these local quirks before booking. Refunds and concessions will not be provided for the above-mentioned issues, as they are beyond the control of the homeowner and property manager. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out before booking.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Kindly note that while we honor our cancellation policy, any processing or payment gateway fees incurred during your reservation are non-refundable in the event of a guest-initiated cancellation, even if your cancellation qualifies for a full or partial refund. This policy does not apply if the host cancels the reservation.
We want to ensure that your stay in Nosara is safe and enjoyable. Like many beach communities, petty theft can occasionally be an issue in the area. Your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities, so we kindly ask that you take the following precautions during your stay:
Always keep doors and windows locked when you're away from the property and at night. If your sliding doors or windows have security bars, please ensure they are in place. If you cannot find the bars, contact us as soon as possible.
Never leave valuables or personal items unattended when you leave the house, including electronics, identification, and anything else of apparent value.
Do not leave valuables in your car while you’re out, and avoid leaving anything on your front or back patios unattended.
If your property has a security alarm, always set it when you leave, even for short periods of time.
While a security guard is not included with your rental, we can arrange for one upon request. If you'd like to hire a security guard for part or all of your stay, please let us know during the booking process and specify the hours you'd like covered.
Please be aware that, even with these precautions in place, theft can still occur in Nosara. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager are not responsible for any loss of items due to theft.
