"The Hotel looked excellent - unfortunately we weren't able to stay there - why? Because the hotel was closed for refurbishment - and EXPEDIA failed to notify us prior to travelling - and also EXPEDIA refused to share our phone number with the hotel so they were unable to inform us in advance of our arrival - fortunately the hotel staff were able to assist us in gettinga ccomodation nearby.
Unbelievably EXPEDIA is also now asking us to review our stay despite being advised - again - that the...

"The room was clean and tidy, staff were pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good and varied. The only drawback for us was the lack of a cooked breakfast. I didn't like the continental offering, There was however a fridge in the room. We took our dog with us for which we paid 35 pounds there was nothing provided for the dog"

We were pleased to be offered a room upgrade when we arrived as we had initially booked a small double room and a larger room was available. We were very happy with the room offered - bright, airy, thoughtfully furnished and extremely clean. An extensive range of teas, coffee and hot chocolate were provided in the room along with complementary water.
The restaurant was busy, however staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble. 5 stars for the food...

Great location on The Rebellion Way cycle , cool room in the heat and very good food - beyond normal pub food
We left very early and they made a breakfast to go for us, which was really appreciated

"Apartment was clean and well resourced. On-site swimming pool was clean, with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.
Staff were very helpful and communication through text message was excellent.
Parking was in a main car park at the top of a very hilly site with a 40 yard walk to carry luggage up and down a fairly steep hill."

"My room was on the ground floor right next to the entrance and a lounge which I think was for the staff. It was very noisy! The tv was on and someone was talking loudly on their phone - I needed an early night as I wasn’t feeling well. That didn’t happen. As a woman travelling alone I was not comfortable with a ground floor room close to the entrance - I would have liked to open the window, but did not feel secure enough. "We had an amazing stay here and would definitely recommend! We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade on our room and it was beautifully decorated. They were friendly at check in and took us to our room, leaving us some shortbread biscuits.
Breakfast in the Grain store was amazing, we also had dinner there."
