Not as advertised
The home was exactly as I was expecting.. it’s an older home with older home issues. The bathroom floor was uneven in paces. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen adequate. There was a smoke detector that was NOT installed, it was lying in a drawer. My BIGGEST complaint was the fact that the dryer was broken. In correspondence with Chris he stated that he had told me that it would not be fixed until after our stay and when I corrected him that he did not tell me that his message became a bit condensing towards me. I did not appreciate that at all. Also, if you look back at a review from the previous month you’ll notice they had the same issue with the dryer. He did tell me the week before we were scheduled to arrive that the dryer was broken and would not be fixed BEFORE we arrived, leading me to believe it would be fixed soon. He also offered to reimburse for laundry fees that I never received. Renting a house they advertised a washer and dryer was the main reason we chose a house. Instead, we spent valuable time lugging laundry out and back into the house. I would not recommend this house due to the poor management by Chris.
