    This luxury home is sure to be the highlight of your next getaway to the Adirondacks. Whether you're visiting for a fun, group ski-cation on Gore Mountain or a well-deserved, peaceful change of scenery, this towering mountain home has it all!



    Inside, you'll find a fantastic gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line, stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar, a dining table for six, and two separate living areas - one on the main level with a gorgeous stone fireplace and a flatscreen TV, and another on the lower level with an additional TV, leather furniture, and a desk and chair for remote work or schooling.



    The Space:

    When it's time to turn in for the night, there are four cozy, queen-size bedrooms as well as a screened-in room off the living area if you're craving a bug-free, outdoor sleeping experience during the summer months. Enjoy the large flatscreen TV above the fireplace in the main suite after you've relaxed in the jetted bathtub. Radiant floor heating throughout adds a luxurious touch that bare feet will love.



    What's Nearby

    In the winter months, experience unbeatable skiing at Gore Mountain less than five miles from your door. When things warm up, discover several local companies offering whitewater rafting on the Hudson River, as well as lake canoeing and kayaking experiences within a few short miles. Enjoy local beaches on Loon and Schroon Lakes, climb mountains or fish in the many lakes and trout streams. The world-renowned Adirondack Experience Museum (ADKX) is in Blue Mountain Lake, 34 miles northwest. Closer to home, downtown North Creek, located right on the Hudson River, is just four miles up the road for groceries, restaurants, essential services, and coffee. About 25 miles away is exciting Lake George Village, with boat tours, arcades, parasailing, amusement parks, outlet shopping, and much more. One of the cleanest rentals we’ve ever used for Leadership Summits. Spacious rooms, multiple spaces for meetings, great view of the mountains from the master bedroom. Kitchen well appointed great fire pit area and outdoor grill. Super quiet neighborhood. Pricing was reasonable. We would consider using this spot again for future clients.

Superb

Second time staying at this property and not the last. Everything my house has and more. Upstairs primary bedroom is my first choice but all of the bedrooms were clean cozy and comfortable. Multiple great spaces for relaxing, conversation with family and friends, or play with the kids. If you sit on the kitchen side of the dining table you have a nice trail view of the mountain. Summer trip this time though. Exterior is manicured with two fire pit areas and some magnificent peonies and fox gloves growing. Screened porch is also perfect to get that fresh night mountain air without the threat of being eaten alive. WiFi solves the no cell service issue but I wasn’t there to be on my phone. Appreciate the better than home away from home feel I get when I’m there

The house was in a great location very close to skiing at Gore and had beautiful views of the mountain. Very nicely decorated and appointed. The only cons were the temperatures in the top floor were hard to balance - the master bedroom became very warm while the back room was comfortable. Also I could not get the master bedroom fireplace to work at all. Highly recommend 4 wheel drive if visiting in winter. Overall we loved the property and would definitely stay again.

Modern Ski Chalet with Views of Gore Mountain

The home is tastefully decorated in ski chalet decorum. It is cozy and comfortable, with modern appliances. Great views of Gore Mountain and the ski slopes.

Home and location both wonderful. Took 1-2 days to get a response on our questions / needs. Light didn’t work in upstairs bedroom. No dishwasher pods or soap in kitchen.

Family ski trip

We really enjoyed the property and felt the home was very well equipped and comfortable. There was a lot of space for everyone and the home is very convenient to Gore Mountain…we could even see the slopes from our bathtub! We wished there had been towel racks/hooks in the bathrooms, but everything else was lovely.

Perfect getaway -- incredible home and location.

Such a lovely break from the city! The house was gorgeous and cozy, in the most beautiful and peaceful setting. Everything was wonderful and extremely well kept/clean, with great guest details from the moment of arrival. - Kitchen extremely well kitted with an awesome stove - Great temperature control and lovely propane fireplace in the master bedroom - Super comfortable bed - Shower was wonderful - Breathtaking views from everywhere (bed, living room, bathtub) The whole experience was just very relaxing and tranquil-- highly recommend!

Beautiful Adirondack House

Overall the house was beautiful and clean, but a few things could be improved upon to make it 5 stars. Beautiful location that was very quiet in close proximity to fun summer activities including whitewater rafting and ropes course. The kitchen was well equipped, the rooms were nice with comfortable beds, and the kitchen was open to the dining and living areas that was good for socializing.

Mountain home

Around the Mountains was a phenomenal place to stay! We loved having this beautiful home as our base for skiing at Gore mountain. Everything was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The bedrooms were fantastic. The family room with fireplace was an outstanding place to gather and relax. Thank you for letting us enjoy this special place. We are hoping to be back in the future.

Terrific place to gather with friends and family

This house is very comfortable. There is plenty of room to spread out and to gather as a group. The rooms are spacious and there are lots of windows which let you enjoy the beautiful scenery. The kitchen is well appointed and the appliances all worked well. The area is very quiet. It's easy to get to town, hiking trails, and other sites. We'd happily stay at this home again!
