Where a man made cabin meets the White River. This inviting cabin has 2 bedrooms + convertible bed, 2 full baths and sleeps 7-9 persons. The Cabin is located about 7 miles outside the town of Norfork, Arkansas. One of the perks about this cabin is you will also be only 15 miles away from the beautiful Norfork Lake.

Cabin 1 has everything you need to have a relaxing get away. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, and utensils for all your cooking needs. You will be able to enjoy our covered front and back decks with all the sights and sounds of nature. So, when you are here make sure to shut off the electronics and let reality disappear for a while. Don't forget to enjoy our large front yard for family fun and games with the kids.

For the fishermen in the family you will be able to enjoy the endless trout fishing. There is a private walkway right in the cabins backyard that leads you to one of the greatest fishing holes around. Also, if you have your own boat, there is a public boat ramp less than a mile drive down the road. But don't worry if you don't have a boat or just left it at home, there are two great companies we recommend for all your fishing needs. (See info on Activities page)

At the end of the day sit back and forget about your everyday troubles by enjoying the amazing sunsets on the White River and maybe see some wildlife from the spacious back deck.

Beautiful and quiet

This is such a beautiful, natural place. A great place to reset. The cabin is great in all the big ways that matter - comfortable bed and a strong hot shower. The views and access to the river are wonderful. Note that it is a very steep walk to the river, for folks with mobility issues. The front yard and the Guinea fowl are equally entertaining. Recommend visiting the gift shop at the Norfork fish hatchery and support conservation!!

So relaxing

We have stayed in this rental twice now. We absolutely love the secluded location, there is little to no service but they do offer WiFi. When the water is down it’s perfect for your kids to enjoy the river safely at the bank. Lots of exploring for them. PJs restaurant is two doors door and AMAZING so if you’re in the mood for a good drink and food you have that option instead of driving into mountain home or Mountain View.

White River Getaway

When we arrived at this rural location everything was as Lisa said it would be. Access to the cabin was easy, the cabin was clean, had a fully equipped kitchen and was completely ready to occupy. On our last day a tornado knocked out power and we had to leave a day early. We were promptly refunded a days rent. I wholeheartedly recommend this cabin on the beautiful White River near Norfork Arkansas. It is next to the wonderful PJ's Lodge and the excellent River Run restaurant.

So Great!

This is a great place to get away for some R & R. The location is amazing with the river in the backyard! My husband and son waded every afternoon and caught a few trout. The picture windows that overlook the river set the stage for a relaxing getaway. There is a great restaurant within walking distance. Basic pots, pans, and silverware are provided. The coffee pot is filtered-the host warned us before we arrived, so be sure to grab filters and coffee, not K-cups. If you are staying for a few days I would recommend bringing laundry detergent, paper products, food storage containers, any extra spices for cooking. The host was amazing with great communication. All in all, if you are looking for a great cabin, right on the river that is easily accessible I would say this is worth booking! We will be back!

Great place for my son and his gal

This was perfect. Nice place for my son and his gal to stay for their Thanksgiving visit. Overall just a nice, quiet get away for them for a few days. Will likely return myself for some R&R.

Recon for Retirement

Overall, we really liked the place. Couple of observations: Coffee maker still had grounds in it with moss growing on it. Discusting. The grill looked like it hadn't ever been cleaned, garbage can underneath was full of beer cans. Laundry room had a basket of dirty sheets in it upon our arrival. Kitchen could stand some new pots, pans and wine glasses.

When we decided to go out of town for the weekend we wanted to go somewhere we have never been before. This was a wonderful choice. Went through lots of towns we have never been to also. The view is amazing and so is the house itself. We enjoyed the wildlife as well. A Definite must see

Comfortable & Close to the River

Our family of 5 enjoyed a long weekend at the Getaway. The house was comfortable and the River was in the backyard. My husband and 3 sons loved that the boat ramp was just down the street. In the evening, the water was low enough that you could wade into the River and fly fish. My youngest son caught two fly fishing and one by hand! I loved the view from the deck and the daily visits from local guineas, rabbits and squirrels. We saw 2 eagles within 30 minutes of arriving. Lisa contacted me before our check-in time to let me know the cleaning person was running behind. We appreciated the call and were able to leave a bit later on our final day. That worked perfectly as the River was only up in the mornings so the guys were able to fish before we had to go home. They had a blast and we got to spend one last weekend together before school and sports start back.

Perfect White River Location

We could not have been more pleased with the property. Beautiful view of the river and very comfortable accommodations. We saw two bald eagles from the deck while having breakfast. We fished up river above Cotter the first day, but the best fishing was along the bluff two miles up river from the cabin where we saw another set of eagles. Caught the last fish for our limit just down stream from the cabin right before returning to Red’s Landing where we had conveniently launched. Closed out the day with a fantastic anniversary meal at PJ’s. Most highly recommended!

Relaxing and very comfortable

The cabin was wonderful, my husband and I loved the large picture windows to see the river whether you were inside or out. Very relaxing and comfortable, loved to see the wildlife too. It was perfect all around.

SO PEACEFUL

Absolutely so relaxing the water was down so the kids were able to play right at the cabin on the river bank! There is an amazing restaurant just one condo over called PJs so on our last night we dined there! Lots of wildlife, cozy back porch overlooking the river, beds were so comfortable, we had an amazing time!

Loved it!

Perfect spot for us given the direct access to the river from the bank. The pics on the site don’t do the place justice. It was also nice being right near PJ’s lodge for excellent food if we chose not to cook. Will definitely be back!

Relaxing

Beautiful place. If u like seclusion this cabin is perfect. The access to the river was just down the hill behind the house. Wide easy path to get down. Recommend some type hard bottom water shoes to fish or swim. My husband caught several decent sized trout. The cabin itself was very roomy and had everything we needed. Loved the deck! Stayed on the deck most the time when we were at the cabin. The beds were very comfortable and had lots of soft fluffy pillows. Wifi worked great. We watched the LSU game on the Roku TV with no problem. I did notice people forgot to log out of their movie app accounts before leaving. Don't forget to log out of your movie apps if u login to them on the TV while staying. The owner was very nice when I spoke to her on the phone. Overall probably one of the best cabins I've stayed in so far in Arkansas. Thank u so much for allowing us to stay.

Great Spot

Super clean and nice. Awesome view of the river, and owner had a nice cut walkway right to the White River. Probably one of the neatest perks is it’s proximity to PJs Lodge. Awesome dining experience and need to make reservation week in advance. Thanks again and will be back!
