Only 2 blocks from the beach, you can have a great summer vacation or even a nice walk along the beach in the winter months. 20 minutes from downtown Norfolk, it is a nice quiet area to relax and still enjoy summertime activities. This Apartment can accommodate 2 guests comfortably. Perfect for a couple or even a small family wanting to get away for a few days. Also, there is a shared patio. The patio may be shared with other guests.

The apartment overall was comfortable but there were a couple of areas that needed attention such as broken door handle, a birthday party sign was left behind, and little rust on some air vents. They were reported to the property owner as well and he acknowledged them. The mediate area was quiet. However, there were pieces of trash by the apartment itself.

The place is small but perfect for a couple, the water pressure was good, the bed was ok, mattress could use updating, the AC works really good. The patio area was a nice welcome, we spent a lot of time just relaxing there. If you're looking for the ritz carlton you will be disappointed but if you just want a cozy little place to sleep, and tour around town, it is in a good location. The area was safe and quite. We would come back again!!

Cute interior, but the first impression wasn’t great…needs a lot of TLC to clean green mold and just spruce up the front exterior. I can overlook that if it is a comfortable and clean interior, though. It was clean enough and had a decently stocked kitchen (although we hardly used it). However, it would have been a much better stay if sofa and bed were comfortable. It was very difficult to sit on the sofa without feeling you were going to slide off, and could not relax to watch a little tv or just snuggle….no depth and cushions slanted a bit. The bed was also hard and needed a foam topper or something to make it more comfortable. I know you get what you pay for, but I think a little extra comfort would have made a huge difference, and not cost much to do. A plus was the outdoor patio which was a nice place to sit and drink my morning coffee.

Really nice place for a long weekend stay

The property was very nice, clean and as advertised. It was a nice short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. I would highly recommend.

Great location; but needs work

Apartment is in a great location and has a nice sized stocked kitchen. Apartment needs a deep clean, new rugs, and a cleaner couch. Bedding is also older with uncomfortable mattress. Bathroom is very small, shower had broken tiles and soup stains. Apartment also smelled like a large dog, vents needed to cleaned as well.

Good stay on a budget

“Perfect Little Shack”

Just me and my boyfriend stayed here for a few days. Everything was good. Anthony the host was great with communication and made everything very easy. Everything is nice and clean. We mainly just went to the beach all day, went out for dinner, and just spent nights there mainly. That’s what a place like this is really meant for. 👍

So much better than a hotel!

I occasionally travel to the VA Beach Area with work. Usually I stay at a hotel, but this time couldn't find one close to my worksite that fit my budget so decided to try VRBO. The apartment is wonderful. Great location. Easy access to the beach, to Newport News, Norfolk, Military Reservation and Fort Story. The booking process was efficient and easy. I brought my dog and it was so much better than trying to navigate him in a hotel. I want to go back and stay just for a short weekend vacation.
