Surrounded by a sea of stars On day 3 of my trip to Bolivia , we drove around 12 hours on this dirt toad to get to the salt flats to scout out location for some astrophotography. As it was end of the rainy season there was not much water left in the flats so made it difficult for us to spot the reflection, but we eventually found a spot and waited till late night to see the milky way reflection on the salt flats. What an #adventure we had

We did the 3-day tour of Salar de Uyuni with Red Planet tour. Up until recently it would take a 10 hour train from La Paz to get to Uyuni however we were lucky that they just started direct flights the month prior that would get us there in 1 hour. Due to our tight itinerary this made the trip a lot more accessible where otherwise we would have had to cut something else out. Salar de Uyuni is a can't miss experience that i could recommend more. #weekendgetaway
