Are you looking for a special vacation home in a unique location with great respect for nature, peace and space? Then this luxurious and high quality furnished villa is the right choice.
This monumental vacation home is located on an impressive private estate. This former farm has been beautifully transformed into a villa, where various elements have been preserved. The cottage has a very large living room with an attractive wood-burning stove and a large dining table. This beautiful room leads to the kitchen, which is equipped with all the essential utensils. The cottage has a cozy TV room with a comfortable seating area, DVDs and board games, as well as a separate toilet and bathroom on the first floor and a bedroom on both sides. On the second floor there are four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate toilet.
Around the cottage there is a barn with table tennis and soccer table, a beautiful fenced garden with open and covered terrace, various playground equipment and a nostalgic playhouse for the children.
The vacation home is called Hoeve De Esch and is located on the historic private family estate De Noetselenberg. You can enjoy undisturbed peace, flora and fauna. Only guests who sincerely appreciate and respect this are welcome. Nuisance, noise and disturbance of the flora and fauna will not be tolerated in any way. The owner therefore reserves the express right to terminate your stay at Hoeve De Esch prematurely if you do not comply with these rules. Hoeve De Esch is not rented to youth groups or for bachelor parties.
Please note that you may not always have good reception with your cell phone at this location. Wireless internet is available, but the speed is so slow that extensive browsing and streaming of images and sound is not possible.

Geweldig vakantiehuis met wel wat verbeterpunten
Dit jaar voor de tweede keer dit vakantiehuis gehuurd.
De locatie is prachtig, middenin het bos, heel rustig.
Ruim huis, goede bedden, voldoende serviesgoed en bestek, te weinig keukenlinnen (twee hand- en theedoeken voor een groep van negen personen voor een week).
Er is een wasmachine maar helaas geen droger, minder handig in een week met veel regen en slecht-drogende was op het rekje.
Qua schoonmaak: we troffen het huis minder schoon aan dan vorig jaar: op het kleed in de kamer en de traploper lagen veel haren.
Communicatie met het verhuurbedrijf dat op locatie dingen regelt was ondermaats: ik werd tot twee keer toe onvriendelijk en onprofessioneel te woord gestaan.
Voor technische problemen konden we de beheerder benaderen: dat contact verliep prima.

Well appointed very pleasant house in lovely location
Finding the house proved a little difficult!
The location is lovely: quiet, lots of outdoor space, surrounded by woods and fields, on the edge of a national park.
The house has everything one needs (- a few more tea towels would have helped!). All important things worked. It was great to have so many play things for children - bikes, buggies, play house etc. - and table tennis and billiard table for all.
A few small things perhaps need attention:
-The toggle plug in bathroom basin on left of stairs going up, does not stop water draining out when "closed" and when open the water takes a long time to drain away (? needs unblocking).
- A few more places to hang things in the bathrooms would have helped, as would a small shelf in the shower to hold soap, shampoo etc.
-The dishwasher lower tray is difficult to get back into the machine when loaded - the wheels come off the track easily. Also some instructions for the dishwasher would help, we had to look up on line what the settings meant. The dishwasher needs salt, but Albert Heijn did not stock it so we could not replenish it.
-It would be nice if there were a couple of ice trays in the freezer to make ice cubes.
-The kitchen knives need sharpening!!
Altogether a thorough pleasant house and surroundings.
We did not get to meet the owner / property manager, since no assistance was needed, but we could have telephoned if necessary. So the rating of 5 stars is based on optimism rather than fact!!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem Haus.
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem Haus. Mit insgesamt 12 Personen hatten wir ausreichend Platz und konnten die Zeit sehr genießen. Auch außerhalb des Hauses gibt es viele Möglichkeiten der Freizeitbeschäftigung (Tischtennis, Kinderplanschbecken, Grillplatz, u.w.). Es ist allerdings sehr schwierig zu finden, da man nur über einen Waldweg zu Haus gelangt.Alles in allem aber ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Wir würden alle wieder kommen! ??
