Nuestro Lodge puede acomodar a once personas con todas las comodidades del hogar. El Lodge está ubicado en el centro entre Muscatine y Iowa City. This was an excellent place to stay on our family getaway for a favorite cuz birthday party. My parents love the location & the quiet serenity. House was as described in listing. Austin was wonderful to work with & replied to any questions we had in a timely manner. Would be a great place for any outdoor enthusiasts. Would rent this lodge again

We reserved the stay while we looked for houses in the area. Stayed for about a month and the host was very helpful. The area was breath taking. Loved being out in the country.Internet was passable. I was glad to have my Starlink to be able to get work done while there. We really appreciated being able to stay there for a month at the monthly rate.

Very disappointed as the description and pictures do not represent a reality. The place was not clean, plaster falling off the walls, unfinished trim. Not fully stocked no kitchen towels provided, pans and silverware were dirty. Not enough bathroom wash cloths or hand towels. Steps were very steep to get to the bedrooms and no bathroom on second level. Steps into the house are very steep and dangerous. Strong Odor in the house.

Great for adults except for the bugs.

The property is in an AMAZING location. Not necessarily the best for when you have young kids. The step to get in is a HUGE step up and one of our kids fell out the door several times forgetting. One of the beds was covered inside the covers and outside with living bugs (NOT bed bugs! Just soft bodied bugs) The showers were challenging to use to the point we showered elsewhere. Water temp was nearly impossible to control and if you dont put something on the shower curtain it plasters to you or gets water everywhere. We had a wonderful time and it would certainly be a great place for all adults or people who are there to hunt.

Awesome!

Awesome location out in the middle nowhere. Had a group of 5 and there was still PLENTY of room. If your a hunter, you will love the decor. Very clean and comfortable. Definitely will rent again!

This was a great property for the entire family to spend the weekend! 2 livings rooms, 2 kitchens, great outdoor areas, this gave us plenty of room for both teens and adults to have their own areas!

Great place for a long weekend away from it all

Property was exactly as advertised. Actually, it was bigger than it looks in the pictures. Plenty of room for 4 friends getting together for a long weekend of grilling, card playing and catching up. The house was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed and worked perfectly for our needs. The owner was very helpful and accommodating when we arrived. I can't say enough about the owner on how helpful she was after a small mix up on the arrival date/time. We will definitely rent this property again in the future!

Fantastic Spot for Quiet Weekend w/Friends

I visited in the Fall with a group of 7 girlfriends, all in our 30s. We had cancelled a trip to Chicago due to COVID concerns and were looking for something close to Iowa City that we could just get away for a couple nights and hangout. From the moment we arrived, we were in love. This home exceeded all expectations. We fully immersed ourselves in all it had to offer - fire pit, grill, walks in the country, plenty of space to lounge and enjoy each other’s company. For a group of women that don’t live in the country, it was everything we wanted. we also loved the setup of the house. The 4bed/2bath is exactly what we needed. Two kitchen areas allowed plenty of space to cook and store food. We especially over the back living room/lounge area. Already hoping to book this house again!

Golfing Adventure

Experience was good. Very private, quiet location. Perfect for a guys golf trip to Iowa City area. Had great time with pool and ping pong tables. Nice fire pit. Not a five star hotel, more like a man cave.

Great spot

Got together with some friends for golfing around the area. I know it's a hunting lodge, but worked great for us as well. Bedrooms were clean, great decor and living areas, and the pool table in the basement was a bonus. Austin was great to deal with and very responsive. Excellent experience, thanks!

The property was pretty nice. The space was awesome and the beds were very comfortable. We didn't have internet. The cleanliness of property was poor. We ran the vacuum in living space with the coach and recliner. Pet hair all over the area rug. Kitchen floor wasn't clean. Garbage in container in kitchen. Dirty dishes in dishwasher. There wasn't enough hand soap, dishsoap, kleenex, and toilet paper. We went to Dollar General in Lone Tree to get those supplies for the week. The owner was very helpful when a sent a message about washer/dryer availability, grill, and bought pitchers for lemonade and tea. I couldn't contact him while we were at the property about the products that were scarce. We used washer/dryer and broght our own laundry detergent. He said we could use theirs. We folded the laundry left in dryer and we rewashed towels/sheets left in washer and dried and folded those. Our experience was very fun and would stay again. We will just be more prepared for the items that aren't stocked well. We didn't have enough garage bags. Not sure where we were supposed to dispose of the garbage. We piled ours in hallway. We didn't find a garbage can outside or dumpster. We loved the home and many of the features.

Beautiful property, unlimited things to do, decent house

We loved the property, and had a really nice visit. However we spent a lot of time vacuuming, cleaning, and removing hundreds of flies. The bugs became a huge problem (spiders, flies, and even roaches). The property managers were very kind and willing to help after telling us they had some not so clean guests and had a hard time preparing the house in time for our visit. I was also extremely nervous that my 2 and 4 year olds would fall down the basement stairs since there was no railing or door to close it off. The beds caused a lot of the adults to have back pain, they are extremely firm. But we did love having the 2 kitchens, and 2 living areas and all that land to ourselves. Still an enjoyable family visit, but unfortunately we wouldn't go back for another visit.

Family Getaway
