Viatges a Ngoc Duong

Hotel was good! Very close to Roma Termini which was amazing and super helpful on our last day before we had to head to the airport. Place was clean and staff was very helpful when it came to answering quickly and accommodating an earlier check in!

Overall a very nice stay at this hotel. I am new to Rome so it is difficult to say what the standard usually is but this hotel is in a quiet and safe part of town but still withing walking distance of very nice restaurants (Osteria Urbana is great!) and the Bologna Metro station. We decided to walk to the Colosseum which took us 45 minutes going past the Fontana di trevi. The view from the patio is very beautiful with lush vegetation and quite a few green parrots to keep one looking ever towards the sky. The breakfast buffet is OK, nothing spectacular but there is a wide range of alternatives. Staff is very helpful and always on hand and we enjoyed every interaction with them as they are so kind and warm. One negative for us was the lack of free bottled water which I do think should be standard in an hotel but that is perhaps just a personal thing for us.

Found bed bugs in the room and staff had not helped at all. Alternative room provided did not have enough beds and I had to sleep on the floor. After all I have been charged normally. Overall the dirtiest and unfair hotel I have ever been.

Bygningen og hotellet som sådan bar præg af voldsomt slid over årene. Morgenmaden var gennemsnitlig, og minibaren som ellers havde overraskende flotte priser blev aldrig fyldt op. Personalet var venligt og imødekommende. Rengøringen bestod i højere grad af nyredte senge og wc rengøring, mens der ikke var blevet støvsuget under sengen eller fjernet indgroet snavs fra badet siden Nero var kejser i Rom. Stikkontakterne var ligeledes alle ved at falde ud af væggene. Til gengæld var klimaanlægget på værelset nemt at betjene og en life saver i det varme vejr. Tagterrassens udsigt var stærkt overdrevet, og mågerne hærgede de få som forsøgte at spise morgenmad derude uden held. Alt i alt yderst gennemsnitligt hotel med små toppe og mange dale.
