    Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a warm feeling of welcome throughout the three-bedroom home. This place was fantastic! I loved everything about it. The only downside was that all the kitchen utensils, along with pots and pans, needed to be washed again before use. Aside from that, it was an amazing experience.

Great house for our trip

This house worked out nicely for my husband and I and our kids. The location was convenient for the places we wanted to go and things we wanted to see and do. We thoroughly enjoyed meals on the back deck!

Family get away

This house was perfect for our stay in Newland. We were visiting a niece and her family and this house was convenient and the development is perfect for a family trip like this. Swimming pool, golf, food at clubhouse -- all above par.

Carlson's Crawdad House was amazing. I wish our entire 7 day stay in NC would have been here. Super clean, crisp fresh sheets and pillows, A/C worked great as it was in the high 80's - low 90's outside. Felt like home in the mountains. Large enough for 2 families. Thank you we would love to stay here again.

Spring Break

We enjoyed the large deck and the neighborhood. My son and I spent several days hiking on numerous trails near and on the parkway. Great location. The house was very clean and beds were comfortable. Hope to come back again soon.

Nice little home away from city life!

We four friends rented this house during our trip to mountain. House was clean and well furnished. We didn’t cook much but kitchen looked well equipped. Patio was the place to sit and enjoy the fresh air. Definitely will rent this house in future if we are in the area.

Nice house

The house was very nice, convenient, easy to find. Having three bedrooms and three baths was very nice. The outside porch and table had not been cleaned. We had trouble finding one set of towels but finally found them. I would take my family there again.

We loved it. House has a very comfortable living room and back patio. Convenient to many historic places- Grandfather Mtn., Linville Caverns, Linville Falls, Mt. MITCHELL ( 1 hr.), Boone 1 hr., LinvilleViaduct, Blue Ridge Parkway easy access.

Pleasant Stay

Property was as advertised. Could have been cleaned better after walking with my white socks they were very dirty. Over all I would stay again if I were to be in that area.
