"Lovely hotel great good in the restaurant. Had to wait ages for our dessert I think they forgot. Nothing around nearest pub is a good 20 minute walk away. Nice gardens to sit in and have a drink at the hotel. Dog friendly too"

"We had the downstairs courtyard room which was wonderful. Tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The room was at the back so very quiet yet within a short walk of the high street with all its lovely shops, restaurants and pubs. We were the only guests on a Sunday night so had our breakfast in the courtyard. We had a wonderful time and would stay again."

"What a fantastic stay at the The Little Silver Country Hotel, beautiful garden and quaint rooms, we had the double (four poster) with the Juliet balcony (Rm 14), perfect on the hottest weekend of the year, the staff were fantastic and couldn’t do more for us to have the most comfortable stay, fabulous breakfast, and even help us out and went to the trouble and arranged a seamless return taxis to Chapel Down, we will be back!"

"Lovely hotel, restaurant, bar, in an excellent location for shopping etc in Rye. Very good value for money. There is no free car parking but the pay & display/RINGO is immediately next door and less than a tenner a day. We can highly recommend this hotel."

"The staff were all wonderful and helpful . It was 36c+ . The building is an old historic property with newly refurbished bedrooms . A fan was in the room to help with the heat . Small but comfortable with a lovely bathroom. My room faced the front and with the heat I needed my window open . The property is by the traffic lights so if you are traffic averse , ask for a rear room . Breakfast is continental but you can pay extra for a cooked breakfast, but not on Sundays . Room for 3 cars to park...

"Advertised as an apartment with breakfast included. But in reality is a chalet bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was 2 mini yogurts in the fridge, a couple of tiny croissants and cereals. Beverages are DIY. Check in is via a member of staff behind the bar in the pub. Unresponsive to phone calls with the number provided prior to the stay where I attempted to know if there was possibility of an earlier check-in but since not being able to get through I had to check-in at the standard 3pm. "Stayed one night for a special occasion. Arrived to an empty reception and waited to be let in by the staff who says he's living there. Room was tired and needed a deep clean — springy noisy bed, dust, cobwebs and spiders. Worst part: a huge dog barking and running around directly above us all night and from 7am, which cost us our sleep and our breakfast. Asked at check-out whose dog it was and was told possibly a guest's — then watched the check-in staff member walk a huge dog upstairs to the...

"Lovely golf course and breakfast was great but slow. Room was very dated and the bed had a huge dip in the middle. Very outdated and an old TV so couldn't even put on Netflix and relax."

"Location is verry central to all the lovely things that Rye has to offer - the view from our room (at the top of the hotel) was spectacular. Although the room was top floor, and the temperature was hot, the fan supplied did a good job of keeping the room cool. We met two different members of staff who went above and beyond to help us and this made the stay. There are some rooms that have been renovated and other areas, (the hallway and stairs) that are yet to be done and appear to look tired...

"Lovely Hotel at the top of Rye close to the church and the castle. Staff were friendly and helpful the breakfast was excellent with a large choice of items from continental and cooked food avaliiable plus hot drinks or juices.Our room was clean and comfortable perfect for our long weekend stay. I would highly recommend this Hotel."
