  • Windrose Vacation Rental es una suite de un dormitorio y 1. 5 baños con sala de estar, cocina, área de descanso y vestidor. Se encuentra en el nivel inferior de una casa de estilo europeo de 3500 pies cuadrados. Es perfecto para una pareja que visita el principal país vinícola de Oregón (¡más de 70 bodegas ubicadas en un radio de 5 millas!), un punto ubicado en el centro de muchas de las atracciones clásicas de Oregón (costa de Oregón a 1 hora de distancia, garganta del río Columbia y senderismo a 1. 5 horas de distancia, el monte. Hood 1. 5 horas de distancia) o desea experimentar algunos de nuestros restaurantes locales de 4-5 estrellas. Su suite se asoma a 1. 5 acres de parque como escenario con ciervos, ardillas, castores y otros animales salvajes. Tiene vistas a un arroyo y una zona boscosa, y puedes tomar tu copa de vino y caminar por el sendero que conduce al arroyo. Dentro tiene TV, estación de iPhone para que pueda enchufar su Pandora, vestidor, placa eléctrica para cocinar, área de descanso para leer, mesa de comedor y sillas. Afuera tiene su propio patio con vista al cañón, que es perfecto para su copa de vino por la noche (después de eso, camine por el sendero). Es privado, tranquilo y te sientes como si estuvieras en el campo sin nadie a tu alrededor, pero estás casi a una corta distancia a pie de la ciudad.

    Padres de la Universidad George Fox: ¿necesitan un lugar para quedarse después de traer a su hijo a la escuela, o para un fin de semana, graduación o después de un partido de fútbol? ¡Este es el lugar perfecto y su hijo / hija puede visitarlo aquí! ¡El campus de GFU está a solo 2 millas de distancia!

    Tiene su propio patio privado con una mesa y sillas para sentarse y disfrutar de la vista. Windrose es también un centro de reuniones y eventos. Para que pueda celebrar su boda o reunión familiar o la cena de Acción de Gracias aquí con sus seres queridos. Está cerca pero privado.

Loved our stay in Newberg! The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and the beautiful backyard was the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine. Lynn was a wonderful host who communicated clearly and made everything easy. The location was excellent—close to many wineries, and we were able to walk into town for dinner. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was beautiful and located perfectly for everything we wanted to do. Lynn (and Abbey) were great hosts going above and beyond to help with our plans. We will definitely be back!

We loved the location, so close to places we wanted to go to. It’s very serene, with the room overlooking a ravine that has a year-round creek. The host is quite responsive but we really didn’t need her after check in and she left us alone. Be aware that there’s no air conditioning, though we didn’t need it because of the natural insulation of being built into a hillside and surrounded by trees. Bring a book and soak up the quiet!

Wine tasting weekend

My husband & I stayed here for a birthday weekend get away. It was super convenient to so many wineries and close to many great restaurants too. The place was perfect for the two of us. It was nice & clean & the bed was comfortable. We would love to stay again & hopefully have better weather next time so we can enjoy the beautiful grounds.

Great VRBO, owner was very helpful, and even loaned us a cooler to use for a day. Great location for visiting wine country destinations. Very private. Would surely return again.

The Host (Lynn) was very helpful in identifying "go-to" locations such as wineries, restaurants, and local hotspots in the Willamette Valley area. The location is perfect for relaxing and was very clean and quiet. The property borders a wooded area and had a nice patio (with firepit) for winding down from a day's activities. We will definitely stay at Lynn's residence when back in the OR wine country.

Great stay

This place was perfect. It was exactly how it appeared on the listing. Lynn has thought of everything to make this property comfortable, even snacks, coffee and creamer. The location was close to all of the different wineries. Would definitely recommend.

Lynn is an amazing host. We arrived she came out to meet us immediately and introduce us to the room and property. She also researched excursions we were looking into before our arrival. The apartment is well furnished and very comfortable. The bed and bedding was also very comfortable which is not always the case. Newberg is lovely and we would love to stay with Lynn and Abby in the future.

This property is a lovely retreat

I live locally and rented this property for a visiting relative. She enjoyed the private and serene location. The property is like a retreat with multiple sitting areas and lush garden areas with a walking trail. The host provided extra treats little snack size treats that we appreciated after a long day of travelling. The property is perfectly situated with close proximity to wine country and the Oregon Coast.

Perfect Spot to Land

My husband and I had the pleasure to stay here to attend our daughter's wedding being held at a local winery. It is just perfect! Everything was comfortable and quiet. I especially loved the extra bathroom. It came in quite handy while getting ready for the wedding. We will come back if we visit the area again.

Oh absolutely great place to spend time like being in a park

Property was unbelievable. Lynne was the most cooperative, energetics person. I think I’ve met in a while she was great, and made sure that she went out of her way to accommodate us and ever way she could.

Fantastic and serene

The property is beautifully situated on a 1+ acre lot and magnificently landscaped and cared for. The location is perfect and close to all the best vineyards in the Willamette valley. The king sized bed is very comfy and we had everything we could ever need during our stay. The innkeeper Lynn and her sweet dog Abby were delightful and friendly. We will be back, thank you Lynn and Abby! Cannot recommend this home strongly enough.

Spoiled relaxation

Be prepared to be spoiled. We arrived to find goodies and a partially stocked refrigerator. Lynn, even made baked zucchini bread from her garden. Who does that, an excellent host who knows that even the smallest things matter! A very relaxing retreat.

I will be there until Feb 26th at least. Melodee and Evonne are amazing! I work nights and they always have coffee ready for me in the mornings. Such sweet ladies! We will be coming back this summer! Love these ladies!

The is a lovely property, you will enjoy sitting outside your room after your travels to take in the surroundings, and the owner and her dog are lovely. Improvements: This place could be really great with a little tender loving design, it needs fresh flooring and bed covers, what is there makes things look old; the internet needs a speed boost; and lastly the mattress needs to be replaced both of us found we had our individual aches from sleeping on it. Stay there as the location is also great, the above is really just suggestions on how to make this place fantastic, not just good.

Super nice host!

We checked in late (from a late plane trip) and, even though we asked Lynn if it would be ok (she said yes) she sweetly met us to show us a quick tour and to ask if we needed anything. We were in town to visit family and really only were there to sleep and have coffee in the morning (which she had provided along with some other treats). We didn’t get to explore the grounds but what we did see was tidy, pretty and well maintained. We would stay again! Jacque and Larry

Windrose was amazing!

We had sold our home and needed a place to stay for a month while we prepared to move to the east coast. Windrose not only met our need but exceeded expectations. Lynn is an amazing host who made sure every need we had was taken care of. The little cottage was quiet, comfortable, and well equipped. I highly recommend Windrose if you plan on visiting this portion of Oregon wine country. You will not regret it.

Wonderful place, wonderful host

From the reviews we read about the property, we had high expectations. They were exceeded! Lynn, the manager and owner, provided a property that was extremely comfortable and private. We felt like we were home—even better. We cannot recommend this place with anything other than outstanding. It was more than reasonably priced and exceptionally comfortable. We stayed for a full week, and we enjoyed every moment. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed.
