Located minutes away from all major attractions, this cozy crescent city home is perfect for a convenient stay. This home away from home is a traditional, southern style , shotgun double with a total of 1300 sq ft. This space has two bedrooms , one bathroom, and a living room sofa with a sleeper to accommodate up to 6 guest.

Great location for jazz fest. Neighborhood is a bit rough around the edges but everyone was friendly and we felt safe. AC works well. WiFi is good. Angelique is super communicative.

Overall happy with our stay in the 7th ward and loved its location to everything and it’s much more affordable than staying in the French Quarter and much more spacious. The host was very effective with communication and very prompt and professional. Would absolutely stay again during Jazz Fest or even off fest season.Vaucresson’s and Lil Dizzy’s Cafe are all within walking distance, as well as all the food trucks underneath the overpass (highly recommended finding the Yakamein Man), and if you’re into live jazz, Kermit Ruffins, Kermit’s Treme Mother in Law Lounge is right down the street.

Great time in NOLA

The host was great, very friendly, provided us with the best places to eat and places to see. We enjoyed our stay very much. Great place to recharge on the comfortable beds and then play all day. This property is just a quick drive to the French Quarter and easy drive to the airport.

Can't wait to stay again!

The property exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and ammenities accommodating. My girlfriends and I never once felt unsafe throughout our stay. We will definitely stay here again!

The house was great and the vibe it gave was cozy and warm. We did run across a couple of things that needed fixing and when I notified the owner they instantly got on it and tried fixing it. The only things I wished they did have was a bit more cooking dishes like pans for the ovens and some bigger stove top pans. Other then that it was a great stay!

Wonderful stay

Angelique was so nice and quick to respond. We had an issue with the dryer and she brought us fresh towels! Would definitely stay again.

The host was very nice. The neighborhood felt very unsafe. The house was not well kept up. There were 3 tvs, 10 remotes and none of them worked. The washer also didn't work, I wish we would have been notified of that ahead of time.

This was an excellent location to stay for jazz fest. 1/2 walk to the fair grounds and 20 mins to the bars on Frenchman. The outside of the house looks a little faded but inside is clean and tastefully decorated. The neighbors seemed friendly.

really cute inside and has all the amenities you need. 8 minute uber drive to the quarter. The owner is a pretty awesome lady. I would stay here again

Lovely Stay

This was a great place to come back and relax in after a day of exploring. Clean, welcoming, and quiet, I would definitely stay here again. Our host was on top of things the whole time and stayed in contact to make sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 would recommend.

Great stay

It was great location that had that authentic New Orleans feel. The only thing I have to say is that the tub needs to be replaced and the door was hard to lock because of the door frame but othe then those issue I would definitely stay again.

Diamond in the Ruff!

It was a very comfortable place to stay! The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy(actually worked out fine). It was very quiet. The host was very friendly and even stopped by to bring some extra supplies. She also gave us some good recommendations for dinner, etc. Thank you!

So cute!

This was a very cute home that you can tell they put a lot of love into. All the furniture and decorations are nice. Mattresses were amazing! Best sleep. In non-peak hours only for 10 to get to the French Quarter and 30 for the airport. Host was SO nice and gave us amazing food recommendations. I highly recommend this one.

I recently stayed at this VRBO property, and unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. The listing made the place seem modest but comfortable, however, upon arrival, cleanliness was a major concern. The neighborhood itself also felt somewhat questionable. While I understand that locations can vary, I didn’t feel particularly at ease coming and going, especially after dark. It’s something future guests may want to consider depending on their comfort level.Amenities were very limited compared to what was advertised. Basic essentials were either missing or in short supply, and there wasn’t much effort put into making the space feel welcoming or well-equipped for guests.Overall, this property might work for someone looking for a very budget-friendly, no-frills place to stay, but for me, the lack of cleanliness, minimal amenities, and uneasy surroundings made it difficult to enjoy the visit.

Host was great, communicative and helpful. She even helped bring in our instacart order when we weren’t home. The spot could use some cleaning and deep cleaning. (Ie: window sills with dead flies, doors wiped etc) the area is a lower income neighborhood so we didn’t feel comfortable walking anywhere or being outside long. Would recommend keeping that in mind while booking, but we didn’t have any problems with that while staying. Likely will stay in another neighborhood next time.

Quick weekend in Nola

This was my 4th visit to NOLA and each time I have gotten to explore a new neighborhood. The 7th ward is real authentic New Orleans and it felt just like home. The property is a shotgun style home which is what New Orleans is known for. Beautifully decorated property. 5 stars for the host and her welcome.
