Great boutique style hotel. Room was clean and very comfortable. We had a balcony on the street side, which was very nice to sit in the morning and have coffee and beignets. Just be aware there is no elevator, so if you are on the third floor be ready for the stairs with your luggage. Courtyard and pool are great.

The room was basic but okay for somewhere to sleep. Wouldn't advise a stay if you have a lot of heavy luggage as we had to climb stairs to the 3rd floor. It was convenient for everything local within the French Quarter. I probably wouldn't book it again for us

Pictures are not what the place looks like in real life. Lots of small repairs needed in the room (paint chipping, molding, rust, etc.), odd smell when entering room.

When I had booked online, I specifically booked because the room was advertised as being purple, which is my favorite color and was the theme of our trip. Arrived to find that we had an orange room with a dirty shower. The balcony overlooking the street was what I feel the only amenity that matched the description. Was pretty close to the nightlife. Would I go there again probably not.

Clean. As advertised except for not mentioning to hit the asterisk on exterior door when inputting the door/room code. Others mentioned the same problem. Just mention it in the instructions. Easy fix. Great balcony for relaxing. Watched three weddings and one funeral from it. Be prepared for 3:30am trash truck emptying receptacles. Include lots of booming bass from passing vehicles until about 1-2am. Despite that we would still rent there again. Within near sight of Jackson Square, Cafe Du Monde and the Moonwalk next to the Mississippi River. Many good restaurants in the immediate area. Great area to be staying in.

This quaint private hotel has great rooms with old time but updated charm & amenities. Love the balconies that over look the pool. They are each private so you can leave doors open & be as free as you want.

I stayed here 7 here’s ago for my birthday and I came back for my birthday. I do wish I had a balcony but it’s ok. It gave me the classic New Orleans vibe just as it did the first time. It’s an old building so don’t expect it to be extravagant, if you’re looking for a true New Orleans stay this is the place to be. Very simple, quiet and relaxing. Very close to Jackson square, bourbon and just about everything else.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! The room was dirty, old cups and cans under the bed. Mold everywhere. Lights didn't work. TV didn't work. I asked for a partial refund. They asked for proof. I submitted pictures and followed up a couple times. But never received anything. Pay the extra money to stay elsewhere. This was truly a bad experience.

Very nice, clean and super secure location was perfect nearby parking. The only downside was there was no microwave or ice machine available, but I would still definitely recommend and would book again in the future.

While the hotel itself was great, the location is not. We had a street side balcony room, which may have been the issue. The omni royal hotel is across the street and they had their dumpsters emptied at 4 am. The hotel is also between restaurants and they get their food deliveries early in the AM. We bought earplugs so it was fine, but just be aware that it is LOUD. Everything else was great

We were on the 3rd floor had extremely heavy suitcases and were not aware of no elevator. We had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with our suitcases. The building is very old. Chipped wood and rusted metals inside the rooms. Our main light did not work. I would not recommend for comfort but if you love 3 min walking distance to everything in the French Quarter it’s ok

Fantastic stay! Loved the pool and the HUGE rooms!! Pool area and front awning need some TLC, curtains in the room would have been nice, but the location and large rooms were amazing!!!

I will be staying here again if the prices are agreeable!! Walls are paper thin though.. yes, people will hear you have sex.. they will hear you cough… laugh…
