You’ve finally found the perfect mix of accessibility and relaxation for the whole group. A short walk north of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living.
Appropriately named “Mid-City,” this neighborhood is centered around community and culture. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil, or a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Explore what this pocket of town has to offer, including the oddities. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue, which, conveniently whisks you past a po’ boy shop or two, with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. There`s also a brand new Trader Joe`s right up the street.
From beautiful sights, taste bud tingling foods, and vibrant live music, who wouldn’t want to visit?! We recommend using public transportation, including streetcars, buses, Uber or Lyft during your stay. For another fun way to explore the area, try Blue Bikes, a ride sharing bike rental all around the city.
This property abounds with special amenities including a private pool, flat screen TV in the living room and master bedroom, washer and dryer, and colorful art that is sure to catch your eye. Our bright and open space is the perfect setting for a small group or family looking to take in the ultimate New Orleans experience.
Our modern home can sleep up to 4 guests - Ideal for families or small groups. The bedroom configurations are as follows: Bedroom 1: 1 King bed with flat screen TV, en suite 5-piece bath and dual sinks, walk-in closet Bedroom 2: 1 Queen bed with flat screen TV, small closet Common Area: 1 sofa bed (sleeps 2) and 1.5 Baths; (1) Full bath in upstairs hallway and (1) half bath off the kitchen area
The home is professionally cleaned prior to every stay and stocked with kitchen essentials, bathroom toiletries, linens and towels for your group.

Upon acceptance of your reservation, you will receive a welcome letter containing all of the information you need to access the home and ensure your stay is a memorable one! If you have any additional questions, we are available at any time to assist.

**There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details. *** ***See last section for Pool Rules***
1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their airbnb profile.
2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).
3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.
4. Clean towels are a provided amenity. Each guest listed through your reservation will receive 1 bath towel and 1 face towel. We are unable to fulfill requests for additional towels during the duration of your stay. Plan ahead while packing, please bring extra towels if you or any of your guests anticipate needing more.
5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee. Please smoke outside of the property and in the backyard. Dispose of trash.
6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. Exterior cameras present at the property to verify these laws/house rules are not broken. As of May 2022, Airbnb has specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in a ban from Airbnb.
7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.
8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup.
9. If the space is left excessively dirty $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.
10. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 deep cleaning cleaning fee and immediate request to leave. Pet Boarding recommendations available upon request. Both the owner and staff have pet allergies. If traveling with pets please inquire about our pet friendly units.
11. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo” it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.
12. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.
13. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.
14. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.
15. Message us for long term stays.
16. Garbage day is Mondays, Recycling on Tuesdays. Please bring trash can to the curb.
17. Pool is open daily from sunrise to 9:30PM, please do not play loud music and be mindful of noise levels. Put back all pool furniture the way it was after use.
18. Parking**** three cars will fit properly inside the drive, which is located on the right side of the house (if you are standing in street and looking at the house). DO NOT block the sidewalk.
19. All of our TV`s are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out. We do not have cable TV.
20. RVs / Campers / Trailers are not allowed on the premises.
21. External power outlets can not be hooked up to the property under any circumstance.
22. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it`s possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested through Airbnb after your additional time has been approved.
23. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee. This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item. If you leave anything at the unit, please let us know immediately.
Pool Rules:
1. We are not responsible for accidents or injuries
2. Broken glass, regardless of amount in the swimming pool, requires the pool be drained and cleaned out of broken glass. This cost is transferable to the guests.
3. Please enter and exit the pool and spa slowly using the steps.
4. Please do not bring glass, of any kind, in or near the pool and hot spa. Plastic ware is provided for out door entertainment.
5. No diving, running or horseplay in the pool and hot spa.
6. Do not use the pool under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.
7. Children under 14 years of age must be supervised at all times. Toddlers must wear a swim diaper.
8. No animals are allowed in the pool. Guest that let animals in the pool will incur additional charges.
9. No lifeguard on duty. Use the pool and/or the hot spa at your own risk.
